Swansea have had the edge and now have the lead. Jonjo Shelvey cuts in from the right, crosses to the far post and Jefferson Montero's diving header is planted into the bottom corner.

  2. League Two updatepublished at 16:32 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Southend are throwing it away. A win takes them up, but now they are 3-1 behind at Morecambe, Jamie Devitt adding a third for the hosts. At the moment that result will take Bury up, as long as they maintain their 1-0 advantage at Tranmere.

Burton will win the title if they win. But they have just had goalkeeper Jon McLaughlan sent off with Robbie Simpson of Cambridge converting the resulting penalty to take the U's 2-1 in front. But, the way it stands, Burton will still become champions as second-placed Shrewsbury are losing 2-0 at home to Plymouth.

Into the last 20 minutes at the Liberty Stadium and there is little sign of a winner. Swansea having the edge, without much final product.

Poor defending. Really poor defending. But a potentially huge goal for QPR as Leroy Fer shows great technique to hook in a volley from a Joey Barton corner. He was left totally unmarked in the centre of the goal eight yards out.

Tim Sherwood has lifted the gloom at VillaImage source, PA

Very open and entertaining game at Villa Park. The Paul Lambert era feels a long time ago now. Gareth Barry hits a shot on goal as Everton continue to push on. Don't rule out a 3-3.

About to enter the last 20 minutes at the Stadium of Light. Can Sunderland hang on to a huge, huge win?

"Tom Cleverley has been a revelation since Tim Sherwood took over. He always used to go sideways and was lacking in confidence but that was a great run and finish (see 16:21). Everton have woken up in the second half a bit but Villa are still looking strong. That goal came at a vital time."

  10. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:26 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Rob Green has earned his corn today! Another top save from the QPR keeper to push out Dejan Lovren's strong header from a corner.

Southampton's Sadio Mane is rolling around in agony on the edge of the penalty area after chasing a ball alongside Lee Cattermole. No foul is given though. Looks like an accidental coming together.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:25 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Steven Gerrard from 20 yards! Wide.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:24 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Keep-ball from Sunderland? Not often we have been able to say that this season. The Black Cats are pushing for more goals with 25 minutes left.

Victor Wanyama is replaced by Steve Davis in the centre of midfield for the visitors.

  14. Postpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Former Aston Villa striker Dion Dublin
    Final Score

"To stay up you do need that bit of quality as well as the blood, sweat and tears. Burnley have been lacking in quality today, and they've been picked off in their general play. Just get a point today. Although they were unlucky to have Michael Duff sent off when there were players covering."

Things are suddenly looking a whole lot brighter for Sunderland. They may still be in the bottom three but, Leicester, Hull, Newcastle and Villa are still looking anxiously over their shoulders.

    Cleverley celebratesImage source, PA

Tim Sherwood is clearly doing something right as Tom Cleverley scores for the second week in a row! A fine goal too, Leandro Bacuna slots him in with a clever angled through-ball, he runs off the back of the Everton midfield but still has it all to do. And he does it, clipping a first-time angled drive over Tim Howard and into the top corner.

  17. League Two updatepublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

A vital few minutes in League Two as Southend, who started the day in third - the last promotion place - are 2-1 behind at Morecambe, who have gone into the lead through Aaron Wildig's goal.

Bury have just gone ahead at already-relegated Tranmere with a goal from Tom Soares, and that could take Bury up.

If Tranmere equalise, then Wycombe could go up. They are leading 2-0 at Northampton.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:20 British Summer Time 2 May 2015

Stewart Downing cuts in from the right at full tilt, Ben Mee slides in - Downing is booked for a dive! He's livid about it too. Mee was fully committed but did he just pull his leg away at the last minute? Hard to see.

"What an opportunity that is for Liverpool [see 16:13]. You talk about a chance, Henderson put that on a plate for Sterling. How much does he want a week? He should have put that away with his eyes closed."
