At the top of the Championship Watford have scored a third against Nottingham Forest. Almen Abdi got the goal to make it Watford 3-1 Forest. Just minutes left at the City Ground.

While towards the bottom of the league Ross McCormack has equalised for Fulham against Rotherham, it's now 1-1 at Craven Cottage.

In League Two Burton are still trailing Carlisle 1-0.

A lot of you are ruminating on the fact that David Luiz cost £50m from Chelsea. His defending has been poor for both of Luis Suarez's goals tonight but the flip side of that is that Suarez's movement and touch were top class.

Chelsea basically got Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas for that sale...

GOAL

A chance! A glimmer of hope for PSG as they get a fortuitous route back into the game. Right-back Gregory van der Wiel follows up a deep cross at the back post and fires it in low and hard, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen could throw his cap on it until it takes a massive deflection off Jeremy Mathieu and flies in.

That makes the second leg marginally more interesting anyway. Keeps Zlatan onside.

Dear oh dear, this is equally brilliant from Luis Suarez and calamitous from David Luiz and co at the back for PSG. They lose the ball, Suarez plays a sharp one-two to bear down on Luiz, he nutmegs him with outrageous ease to go clean through on goal and then supplies a hedonistic finish. He bends a shot right into the top corner, right in the corner, when there was no need. He could have just passed it in. But he made sure it was special.

Barca's tactics for the last 15 minutes are as potentially lethal as they are simple. Pull seven men behind the ball and leave Messi, Neymar and Suarez in the PSG half and let them do what they want.

Watford have now gone 2-0 up against Nottingham Forest in the Championship. Matthew Connolly scored the Hornets' second. As it stands Watford are level on points with Norwich who are second, but have an inferior goal difference to the Canaries who have scored one goal more.

PSG have a ragged minute and they are lucky not to go two down. First, they over-commit at a corner and a better pass from Neymar would have sent Lionel Messi in on goal from the halfway line.

Then, David Luiz has one of his 'Playstation' moments, charging out of position to the left and being tackled by Luis Suarez. Suarez is short of support so tries to chip Salvatore Sirigu from 25 yards, but Sirigu covers his ground to save.

He lands on his shoulder and needs treatment though. More injury problems for the hosts? He'll see it through to half-time at least.

My doubts over the clinical nature of Edinson Cavani continue. Ezequiel Lavezzi picks it up on the left, turns inside and releases Cavani into an ocean of space. A good first touch and he's in on goal, but it's a horror, bobbling off his shins and allowing Javier Maschreano to make a heroic sliding intervention.

For all the money Cavani has cost, he should be doing better. Great chance for PSG. Zlatan would have buried that.

Barcelona make their customary keeper change for the Champions League, with Marc-Andre ter Stegen replacing Claudio Bravo. Dani Alves serves a one-match suspension and so Martin Montoya starts at right-back, while Javier Mascherano is selected at centre-back ahead of Jeremy Mathieu.

PSG's already-mentioned suspension woes dictate changes for this game. In total they make five from the team that won the French League Cup on Saturday, which also saw them rest key players. Edinson Cavani is shouldering a greater burden in attack in the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with former Newcastle man Yohan Cabaye coming in to midfield. Gregory van der Wiel returns at right-back, while Salvatore Sirigu takes the place of Nicolas Douchez in goal.

Football League tonight

In the Championship, fourth-placed Watford could move on level points with Norwich in the second automatic promotion place if they beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

At the bottom of the table, Fulham in 20th, face Rotherham, 21st, at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers are six points above the relegation zone while their visitors are four points from the drop. A win for either side will go a long way to guaranteeing Championship football next season.

League Two leaders Burton Albion can move within one match of promotion if they beat Carlisle at the Pirelli Stadium. Wins for Bury and Southend on Tuesday mean the earliest Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink's side can be promoted is Saturday - assuming they beat Carlisle.

These two sides know plenty about each other, having met in this year's group stage.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suspended tonight but he's still the talk of the town. That's what a rockstar does.

He's 33 now and is unlikely to ever play in the Premier League - unless Big Sam gets the Bolton retirement home business back up and running next season - which is undoubtedly a shame for fans of the English game.

For my money Ronaldo would have torn the Premier League apart in his heyday. Who would you like to see in the Premier League?

My own personal choice? Ronaldo. He was a phenomenon in the late 1990s. Absolutely brilliant...

Coaches Laurent Blanc and Luis Enrique should be able to share a few friendly words across the technical area this week - the two were briefly Barca team-mates back in the 1996-97 season.

PSG boss Blanc may have ended his career as a dawdling centre-half at Manchester United but was peerless at his best, a brilliant reader of the game and a high-class distributor too.

Barca coach Enrique was - as fans of a certain management game of the era will recall - a very versatile player but mainly used in midfield. What a player, what a kit!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic sits this one out with a one-game ban after his contentious sending off against Chelsea in the last round. Also banned is midfielder Marco Verratti, while right-back Serge Aurier begins a three-game ban for "insulting acts" towards the referee.
