Capital R: David Luiz has had a complete nightmare. A massive shade of the £50m price tag PSG paid.

Rishi Verma: Ibra was the focal point of attack at both Milan and Inter, and now at PSG where everything goes through him. A huge loss.

Naveed Afzal: And that is why Jose Mourinho got rid of David Luiz (even though he knocked them out) 50m calamity all day long.

Tunde Giwa II: Suarez is just too good. The most complete striker in football right now.

Laurent Blanc shakes hands with Luis Enrique, his patched-up side were taught a lesson at times but that late goal may give them a slight, slight chance of reaching the last four. Maybe. Possibly.

At the top of the Championship Watford have scored a third against Nottingham Forest. Almen Abdi got the goal to make it Watford 3-1 Forest. Just minutes left at the City Ground.

While towards the bottom of the league Ross McCormack has equalised for Fulham against Rotherham, it's now 1-1 at Craven Cottage.

In League Two Burton are still trailing Carlisle 1-0.

Lionel Messi, over the wall - good save!

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:33 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

Chance! PSG somehow almost get a second as Adirano makes a fine tackle and the ball runs kindly for Edinso Cavani. I can't criticise him this time, it's a fine strike but Jeremy Mathieu makes an excellent block.

Barca have a free-kick now at the other end. Excellent range for Lionel Messi...

Barca playing keep-ball for the final few minutes. Luis Suarez on a hat-trick...

A lot of you are ruminating on the fact that David Luiz cost £50m from Chelsea. His defending has been poor for both of Luis Suarez's goals tonight but the flip side of that is that Suarez's movement and touch were top class.

Chelsea basically got Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas for that sale...

  9. GOALpublished at 21:26 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

A chance! A glimmer of hope for PSG as they get a fortuitous route back into the game. Right-back Gregory van der Wiel follows up a deep cross at the back post and fires it in low and hard, but Marc-Andre ter Stegen could throw his cap on it until it takes a massive deflection off Jeremy Mathieu and flies in.

That makes the second leg marginally more interesting anyway. Keeps Zlatan onside.

Sally Anders: PSG: all the gear and no idea.

Aidan Mifsud : Barcelona are just no fun are they? Just too good, let the poor PSG boys play a little. Bayern on the other hand.....

Stepan Benyovszky: This is ridiculous, Barca are now officially treating this as an exhibition match. The gap in class is telling.

KoloKK: Suarez at £70m was a STEAL!

See you later PSG, thanks for coming. Let yourselves out, mind the noise for the neighbours won't you? Cheers.

Dear oh dear, this is equally brilliant from Luis Suarez and calamitous from David Luiz and co at the back for PSG. They lose the ball, Suarez plays a sharp one-two to bear down on Luiz, he nutmegs him with outrageous ease to go clean through on goal and then supplies a hedonistic finish. He bends a shot right into the top corner, right in the corner, when there was no need. He could have just passed it in. But he made sure it was special.

Telegraph football correspondent Henry Winter tweeted:, external "Suarez at his very best: running in, all control, determination & pace, taking him past David Luiz, Marquinhos & Maxwell, cool finish. 0-2"

  14. Postpublished at 21:22 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

Barca's tactics for the last 15 minutes are as potentially lethal as they are simple. Pull seven men behind the ball and leave Messi, Neymar and Suarez in the PSG half and let them do what they want.

  15. Football League updatepublished at 21:18 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

Goal at the City Ground where Gary Gardner has pulled one back for Nottingham Forest with a free-kick against Watford. Its currently Forest 1-2 Watford with less than 15 minutes remaining.

We have entered the showboat zone it appears as Lionel Messi sets out to replicate, if not better, Luis Suarez's solo goal. He beats three men with an ease not seen since Keanu Reeves at the end of the Matrix. He can see time at a different speed. Walks past the PSG defence but fires his shot over the bar.

Messi is the member of Barca's front three who hasn't scored...

  17. Postpublished at 21:16 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

Into the last 20 minutes. As it stands PSG will have to score twice in the second leg to make a game of it. They'll have Zlatan back though.

    BBC Sport chief football writer

"Not saying those who rate Cavani are wrong - simply that I have never seen it. Now Luis Suarez on the other hand..."

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:14 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

Edinson Cavani comes to the party! What a strike, that's why he's worth £55m. Superior technique to lash a strike in on goal from 15 yards but Marc-Andre ter Stegen makes a telling save.
