    PSG missing Zlatan?

James Bornstein: If big Ibrahimovic was leading the line instead of Cavanu I think we would be in a different situation now.

Chris Rod: Cavani is and always will be a poacher, Ibrahimovic is a monster! For all those saying PSG didn't need him.

Aran: Criticism at Cavani being terrible in big games but why doesn't Zlatan? How often does he turn up in big games?

Look away now Liverpool fans. Your ex-love is doing it on the biggest stage. And it's beautiful.

Genius. This is absolutely brilliant from Luis Suarez, who nutmegs David Luiz out on the right wing, checking back inside with such a sharp touch to drive into the box, two more PSG defenders converge, he jags through the smallest of gaps and squeezes off an early strike which Salvatore Sirigu can't keep out. Tie over?

PSGg nned answers fast and they turn to another Brazilian, the lightning-quick Lucas on for Adrien Rabiot. Get your wheels turning Lucas old boy or this tie could be out of sight.

Since he came on, by the way, Xavi has made as many passes as Luis Suarez has all game. He could form the basis of the ultimate 5-a-side team with Paul Scholes. You'd never get the ball.

PSG spent £55m on Edinson Cavani which cannot be viewed as good business on tonight's showing. He needs to repay some of that fee in the last half an hour or PSG could be heading out at the last-eight phase once more.

Eurofoot: Those who are saying how PSG should play are missing a key point - Barca are not letting them play through talent and their hard work.

Shohidur Rahman: Once again Cavani has been absolutely horrific in a big game.

ANIRBAN JYOTI MONDAL: Zlatan is irreplaceable for PSG. PSG really missing him.

Edinson Cavani thinks he's offside when he's over the top - play to the whistle! How infuriating, and the fans get on his case too. Quite right. A frustrating display from the number nine on a night when his side needed him to raise his game.

Lionel Messi is bookedImage source, Reuters

Lionel Messi lunges in late and he's booked by Mark Clattenburg. One for Clatts to tick off the ref's wishlist. Scrappy game now, a few tasty tackles coming in but Barca have all the hallmarks of a side which are happy to take a 1-0 lead into the second leg. Bank the away goal and good night.

Another 20-yard effort for PSG, they are trying their arm from range more often in this second half. Adrien Rabiot drags a shot toward goal but it's tame. Andres Iniesta needs some treatment as George Weah looks on.

    Legend.

  12. Football League updatepublished at 20:54 British Summer Time 15 April 2015

In the Championship the second half has just got under way at the City Ground where goals from Odion Ighalo and Matthew Connolly have given Watford a 2-0 lead against Nottingham Forest. Watford are level on points with second placed Norwich, but kept out of the automatic promotion places on goal difference, a few more tonight and that could all change. Elsewhere it's half-time at Craven Cottage where it's Fulham 0-1 Rotherham.

It's also half-time in League Two where Carlisle are winning 1-0 away to league leaders Burton.

Edinson Cavani's second touch has regularly been a tackle tonight and he again loses the ball down in the corner. He must be a great player, must be. But I've never seen him convince.
