Half a chance for Arsenal as Theo Walcott is picked out in the middle of the area, but drags his shot wide.

Four minutes of added time. Hull are going to need to muster up something special to snatch a point from this.

"Steve Bruce will be happy that his team have kept going, they have not given in and they have been spirited. I feared the worst for them at half-time but they played a little higher up after the break, got a goal and had more energy. They can take that into their massive game against Burnley next weekend. I think that one win might be enough for Bruce's team. I just cannot see Sunderland winning two of their last four games."

...wasted. A terrible set piece eventually drifts behind for an Arsenal goal kick.

  5. Postpublished at 21:47 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Two minutes of normal time remaining, surely not enough for Hull to get two goals? Tom Huddlestone has a free-kick midway inside the Arsenal half...

If I was an Arsenal fan, I'd have my heart in my mouth every time Jack Wilshere has the ball. He's not holding back in this game and he races forward again as he gets a pass off Hector Bellerin, powers at the Hull defence before tumbling just inside the area. No foul, though.

"Olivier Giroud has been a little bit off tonight, his levels not quite right. Theo Walcott will come on and look to exploit space. Arsenal will now try to keep possession of the ball. Hull had a period after half-time when they had a glimmer of hope but apart from that Arsenal have been fantastic."

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:44 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Arsene Wenger opts to throw some pace at the tiring Hull legs as Theo Walcott replaces Olivier Giroud for the final five minutes.

  9. Postpublished at 21:43 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Steve Harper may be 40 but he has displayed the reactions of someone much younger in this game and he does it again to deny Hector Bellerin's fierce strike, before Jack Wilshere's follow up is cleared off the line by James Chester.

"Jelavic is a brilliant natural finisher, he was sensational in his first season at Everton. He always gets a shot off."

  11. Postpublished at 21:41 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Nikica Jelavic is the focus of Hull's attacks now as Ahmed Elmohamady gets forward and squeezes a cross, aimed at the striker, between two Arsenal players, but Laurent Koscielny gets his head to the ball first and clears.

Into the final 10 minutes. Arsenal are on the ball again as Mesut Ozil wins a corner.

Hull take the opportunity to make their last change as Stephen Quinn is replaced by returning striker Nikica Jelavic, who has been out since mid-March after having knee surgery.

"Wilshire has made such a difference since he came on. Arsenal wont be looking to sell him. You don't sell your home-grown players, especially not ones with that level of talent. It sends the wrong message. He just needs to stay injury free"

  16. Postpublished at 21:35 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

No problems for David Meyler with that black eye as he exchanges passes with Ahmed Elmohamady to set up a Hull chance, getting into the Arsenal area and squaring the ball into the middle but he can't find a Hull shirt.

You sense there is at least one more goal in this, but who will get it?

  17. Postpublished at 21:33 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Hull switching to a flat back four has done little to halt the wave of Arsenal attacks as they again press in numbers, their latest attack ending with Santi Cazorla sidefooting weakly at Steve Harper.

"David Meyler looks very dazed in there. I will be surprised if he finishes this game."

  19. Postpublished at 21:30 British Summer Time 4 May 2015

Alexis Sanchez takes the free-kick, but smashes the ball into the wall and Hull can breathe easy.

Meanwhile, David Meyler is back on the pitch, sporting a shiner of a black eye. Can he even see out of that eye??

"That's the biggest problem with Jack Wilshere. His career at the moment is fragmented. No one questions his ability but he hasn't had a good run of games without picking up an injury. Just when he looks like he is about to kick on, he picks up an injury."
