Tottenham force another corner as Erik Lamela's shot from the edge of the box strikes a Hull leg and goes behind. Lamela delivers the set-piece to the near post, where Eric Dier meets it but heads wide. Closest we have come to a goal. Hull have shown little adventure so far. That will change bit for now they want to build a platform on which to build.

Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has a splendid coat-scarf combination going on today. It's a black coat with a big, big collar. It looks expensive and he opts for a beige scarf to set it off. Cracking.

His team are on top so far with around 59% of possession.

Danny Graham is going for the London buses approach. He waited an eternity for a goal, got one last week, so why not go again? He cuts in from the left flank and is only denied a shot on target by a good block.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:09 British Summer Time 16 May 2015

Sunderland free-kick halfway in their visitors' half... SEBASTIAN LARSSON... brilliant save. Clever stuff as the midfielder goes for the near post, the bluff on the goalkeeper if you will. Very smart from Kasper Schmeichel as he gets down low to tip wide.

"I like the look of Hull's shape, they are being brave and getting their wing-backs forward at every opportunity."

The first shot in anger at White Hart Lane goes to Spurs top-scorer Harry Kane, but his low drive from an angle is blocked and goes behind for a corner. Spurs take it short but waste it as Federico Fazio heads the delayed cross well wide.

We brought you a stat earlier which stated Queens Park Rangers have given away more shots on goal than anyone this season - 202. It's not hard to see why as Clint Hill heads back to his goalkeeper tamely and Emmanuel Riviere tries to snaffle a goal. Robert Green is out quickly though.

Nothing significant to report from White Hart Lane yet. Tottenham almost break through the Hull back-line but a pass that would have released Harry Kane in the box is cut out.

Sunderland could have plenty of chance to pressure this Leicester back three today as they again go with a three-man attack.

Danny Graham and Jermain Defoe are on hand to sniff out anything the bludgeoning Connor Wickham can create. Can the home side force Leicester's wing backs deep. Not yet they can't Jeffrey Schlupp races down the left for the Foxes but smashes his cross too deep. That one may end up in Falkirk.

"What Hull don't want to do early is go gung-ho with the quality Spurs have with Lamela, Chadli and Eriksen behind Kane. They have to be cautious but when they do attack Spurs' goal they have to be positive."

Hello, hello, look lively, look lively.

Connor Wickham does. Fancies a bit of this near post Danny Graham cross and pounces but just gets beaten to the draw by a scampering Leicester City defence. It was Robert Huth. The guy was a man mountain against Southampton last week.

It is make or break time for Hull at White Hart Lane. They bombed out against Burnley last week. Can they go a way towards saving themselves this afternoon? Newcastle, Sunderland, Leicester and Villa hope not.

Spurs are sporting their kit for next season as a little teaser. And Danny Rose has dyed his hair red. Interesting choice.

Fabricio Coloccini and Rob Green stand side by side in the tunnel at Loftus Road. John O'Shea and Wes Morgan do the same at the Stadium of Light. Mascots smile, players look serious, referees try to look important.

    Here they come...

  16. The best is yet to come...published at 14:53 British Summer Time 16 May 2015

Right, so we've had a dramatic East Anglian derby play-off win for Norwich, a hat-trick from Sadio Mane in less than three minutes in a 6-1 win for Southampton against Villa and it is not yet 3pm. With a whole host of relegation-themed games to come and a Steven Gerrard Anfield farewell to come there's every reason to believe we've not peaked yet.

Good timing. We all think we've got it on the dance floor, few have, but Nigel Pearson probably knows how to cut up a rug.

    Leicester City form

His side laid dormant for several months, cocooned in their Christmas onesie, it was time to shake off the cobwebs by April and boy have they done so. A run of six wins in seven has them close to salvation in the Premier League. Don't go back to bed yet lads. Those dancing shoes won't fit so nice in the Championship.

Sunderland head coach Dick Advocaat: "We know that every game is important. Today's it'd important for both sides. I think Leicester will have the same feeling as us. The intention is always the same - to win.

"We have made changes in personnel but the organisation of the team will stay the same. There will be not so many changes. We have two players injured, but that's the way it goes at this stage of the season."

On the day Steven Gerrard gets his big goodbye at Anfield, there's a name missing from the Tottenham squad.

Brad Friedel, retiring at the age of 43 at the end of this season, will not be given a send off at White Hart Lane.

No room for sentiment from Mr Pochettino.
