There are some very cagey games in the Premier League this afternoon. Cagier than the Ghost Rider box set. Just the one goal so far, but a significant one as it has lifted Newcastle to safety as it stands. Hull remain the team in occupation of the final relegation spot. They could dearly do with a goal at Spurs, but so far they are struggling to make any impact in the final third.

Now then, Connor Wickham gets tugged own near the edge of the box and Sunderland could be onto something here. Lots of interest in this one, Sebastian Larsson is orchestrating things like an NFL quarterback...

It's rubbish. The Swede took it short for Wickham to blast into the wall.

Hull have kept Tottenham relatively quiet, but their problem is how to shift up the gears and open up without becoming more susceptible at the back? Tottenham give warning of the threat they pose as Ryan Mason cuts a ball back for Erik Lamela to slide in and knock wide of the post.
