A comment in jest I'm sure.
A look at the average positions of West Brom's players in that first half and you can see the Baggies were more than happy to play on the break.
Here come the teams for the second half.
Peter Collins: Just to confirm, the two managers are known for dull, defensive strategies? Are we sure about this? Great match so far!
George Hill: Is Chelsea even bothered now they have won the title? Can't see them being overly bothered on Sunday either.
This is only the third time this season Chelsea have been trailing at half time in the Premier League (Spurs away, Leicester away, WBA away).
And a warning to West Brom fans, the last time the Blues were trailing at the break in the league (0-1 at Leicester) they came back to win 3-1.
Thierry Henry holds the record for most ever assists in a Premier League season, with 20 in 2002/03. Cesc Fabregas needed two more to equal that record - you can kiss that goodbye Cesc.
Still think the red card is harsh.... I'm on my own with that view in the office though.
Sam, Shrewsbury: Having watched the incident the only reason that was a red card was because we had 9 west brom players around the referee. Controversial???
Tom, Cambridge: Ruben Loftus Cheek looks like a real prospect. The 3 c ' s. Cool, Calm and careful on the ball.
Kev Mcveigh, Lancashire: No argument with the Fabregas card but McAuley was at least as bad as Costa and Olson came in pushing and jabbing at Costa WHILE THE REF WAS BOOKING Costa and got nothing.
Steve in Warlingham: How about if our super fit macho footballers spent the evening in the pub with their mates, watching replays of how they fall about at the slightest touch, and explaining exactly how that happens...?

Chelsea have had most of the pressure but the Baggies pose a real threat on the break.
The Blues have had more shots, more touches and more possession. It has to be said though, they have struggled to create too many real chances.

"The tempo of the game at the start was quite slow and suited West Brom - they started to dictate play a little bit. Diego Costa injected a bit of life into the game, but now Chelsea will have to play with ten men."
Jose Mourinho storms down the tunnel with a face like thunder. His side may be champions but he won't have enjoyed that.
Diego Costa gets a few boos from the home fans as he leaves the field.
That was a tasty half of football wasn't it?

"It's a good test for Loftus-Cheek now that Fabregas has been sent off. Can he play a more disciplined role? Can he look over his shoulder and prevent the ball being played through to Berahino?"
Surging stuff from James Morrison. He makes 60 yards as he turns defence into attack before his legs give way and he falls over.
A frustrating first 45 minutes for Chelsea striker Diego Costa. Only John Terry has had fewer touches than him of Chelsea's outfield players.
Three minutes injury time signalled.
Champagne football from the Baggies. They are playing keep-ball deep inside Chelsea's half to the delight of their home fans - who are greeting every pass with an ole. Claudio Jacob eventually fires wildly over but West Brom are enjoying themselves.
Gooner JP: You can see why he has so many assists! Pinpoint accuracy, but utter stupidity.
Mike Thomas: It wasn't deliberate. I thought he was just kicking the ball back.

"It was a lovely ball from Morrison, just inside Ivanovic. Brunt did well to get a shot away, the angle was probably against him."
West Brom are hungry for more goals. Chris Brunt, who has been a nuisance all night, latches onto James Morrison's through ball but his low shot is saved well by Thibaut Courtois.
Immediately, Chelsea break and Loic Remy's low shot is deflected wide for a corner from an angle. It comes to nothing but what a game.
Sam Kier: Reckon Cesc wanted an early holiday?
Callum J Perry: Only difference between that and Sunday league is that he had the accuracy to hit the guy!
Chelsea free kick from 20 yards. Filipe Luis sets his sights, takes a couple of steps back but his strike is punched away by Boaz Myhill.
West Brom break but Joleon Lescott gets his feet tangled at the other end and the chance is gone.
