Not a bad start from Saido Berahino eh? Three touches, one shot, one goal. Clinical.

Nemanja Matic fires well wide for Chelsea with a speculative 25-yard effort.

Just the start this game needed. Chelsea may have already won the title but they won't fancy being brushed aside by West Brom. They look a little bit rattled.

"So far John Terry has played every league minute for Chelsea. Gary Pallister in 1992/93 is the only outfield player in Premier League history who has played every minute for the champions."

"Good finish from Berahino but it's far too easy for me. Loftus-Cheek could have got out quicker to make the challenge, Berahino just has time to turn and guide the shot into the bottom corner."

Stunning. Chris Brunt feeds the ball in to Joleon Lescott on the left, he passes sideways to Saido Berahino, who swivels before curling home his 19th goal of the season into the top corner from 20 yards. A brilliant strike.

At the other end, Cesc Fabregas slaloms in and out like a skier before forcing a save from Boaz Myhill from inside the penalty area.

"That's what I want from Callum McManaman. It was a lovely first touch to skip past Filipe Luis and it took a good save from Courtois. McManaman is one of those players who has got to step up his level in the Premier League."

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:06 British Summer Time 18 May 2015

West Brom are well on top.

Callum McManaman picks the ball up inside the Chelsea penalty area, goes outside his man, before flashing a low shot that is deflected wide by Thibaut Courtois's knees.

Chelsea playing in the yellow away kit, with West Brom sporting their white tops with blue shirts. Doesn't have the same feel as their traditional home stripes.

Chance for Chris Brunt to curl a free-kick into the penalty but the ever-dependable John Terry heads clear.

"Tony Pulis has got West Brom playing as a well-organised side. They're difficult to break down, difficult to play through. In many ways it's similar to what Mourinho has done at Chelsea."

Baggiesguy: Last game in this horrendous home shirt. Bring back the stripes next season.

West Brom on the attack early on as Chris Brunt receives the ball in space on the left. Saido Berahino is waiting in the box but the cross is poor, hits the front man and is cleared.

  13. Manager viewpointpublished at 20:00 British Summer Time 18 May 2015

West Brom boss Tony Pulis: "The players have worked so, so hard trying to form a stronger bond on and off the pitch. Fortunately it has worked out well for us and West Brom will have Premier League football next season, which is so important to us."

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho: "Diego Costa wants to play and I want players who take some responsibility. For me I would keep him working without playing until the end of the season. He almost begged me to play him."

A moody-looking Jose Mourinho is hanging around in the tunnel, leaning against the wall. Not exactly sure why. He looks as though he has lost something.

That explains it. Tony Pulis walks past and Mourinho gives him a big bear hug before they walk out together. Lovely.

Here are a few stats on tonight's match.

Tony Pulis has won only one of his 12 Premier League matches as a manager against Chelsea (D2, L9), when his Crystal Palace team won 1-0 at Selhurst Park in March 2014.

Chelsea need one more goal to set a new club Premier League record for most away goals in a season. Their current tally of 37 equals 2004-05.

West Brom have conceded a league-high 20 goals from set pieces this season (including penalties). However, only Arsenal (21) have scored more set-piece goals than the Baggies (20).

The teams are on the steep steps leading to the pitch, here they come.

West Brom greet Chelsea with a guard of honour. That must grate.

Fingers crossed we have a match of flowing football to come. They may as well play with some freedom - they have nothing to play for.
