Ian Muir: Mic up Suarez Chiellini and Evra for Champ League final. Could get a mouthful.

Angus Saul: Forget 'mic-ing up' - give Ian Holloway his own fly-on-the-wall reality TV show. He'd be the new Mike Bassett.

  3. "Nauseating style of play"published at 19:46 British Summer Time 18 May 2015

A former Chelsea manager is also celebrating winning a title this season - although it seems he isn't universally popular.

Zenit St Petersburg coach Andre Villas-Boas employs a "nauseating" style of play that is "anti-football", claims one of the club's former players.

The ex-Chelsea and Tottenham boss, 37, has led Zenit to the Russian Premier League in his first full season there.

Yet Boris Chukhlov, who won the Soviet title with Zenit in 1984, also claims Villas-Boas is not good enough to manage a top European club. Chelsea fans might not disagree.

Elliot Leaver: Mike Ashley to be mic'd up - be interesting to see what he actually KNOWS about football.

  5. Fair play or not?published at 19:42 British Summer Time 18 May 2015

Europe's next generation of players probably won't be too chuffed to hear the latest from Michel Platini today.

Uefa's president said European football's governing body is preparing to relax the Financial Fair Play (FFP) rules it introduced in 2011 to stop clubs from overspending.

Less chance for kids to break through perhaps?

Rich in Cov: No point in 'mic-ing' anyone up. They cant string 2 coherent words together. You know what I mean, yeah, like.

    Tony Pulis: Manager of 2015?

A glance at West Brom boss Tony Pulis's record and you can see Mourinho's thinking.

The former Crystal Palace and Stoke City manager took over at the Baggies in January with the Midlands club just a point above the relegation zone but they have now secured another season in the Premier League.

He arrival was probably too late for any repeat of last season's manager of the season award but remarkable stuff all the same.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is certainly an admirer of Jose Mourinho - having appointed him twice at Stamford Bridge.

But if Mourinho himself was in the Russian businessman's shoes, he is in no doubt about who he would look to to lead his club..... Tony Pulis.

"It's simple. If I own an English club, which I don't and which I'd never do, I'd sign Tony Pulis. It's as simple as that," Mourinho said in his pre-match press conference., external

'It's a guarantee to achieve what the club wants."

    Who is Izzy Brown?

The 18-year-old winger came through the ranks at West Brom before Chelsea controversially signed him in 2013.

He had just made his first-team bow for the Baggies, becoming the second-youngest player in Premier League history at 16 years and 117 days.

West Brom were not happy with the compensation they received - reported to be around £1m following a tribunal - and now he could make his debut against his former club from the bench.

Chelsea's future stars? Izzy Brown, Nathan Ake and Ruben Loftus-Cheek

No Chelsea academy kid has become a first-team regular at the Bridge since John Terry almost 15 years ago.

Now, with the Premier League title secured, Mourinho is handing the next generation the precious game time they need to develop.

Elegant midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek played an hour of the 1-1 draw with Liverpool last weekend and didn't misplace a single pass. He starts again. Nathan Ake, the 20-year-old Dutch defender, and Izzy Brown could now play at The Hawthorns - along with fellow academy products Jamal Blackman and 19-year-old defender Andreas Cristensen.
