Chelsea did not have a single shot on target in the opening 45 minutes but just look at how many touches new Arsenal keeper Petr Cech had in the first half....outside his own penalty area.

Loic Remy's touch map shows the Chelsea forward is getting himself into some decent positions....unfortunately he has been caught off-side four times in the opening 45 minutes.

Jose Mourinho begins his march down the tunnel just before half-time. He stops momentarily and looks back as Arsenal attack, but it comes to nothing and the referee blows his whistle.

Petr Cech has had very little to do in the Arsenal goal, but is alert to catch a deflection off Per Mertesacker when Cesc Fabregas's free-kick into the area skims the head of Branislav Ivanovic and hits the defender.

They've had some defending to do, but Arsenal attack and almost grab a second as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain crosses for Nacho Monreal, who heads over under pressure from Branislav Ivanovic. 

Josh Hammond:  If Raheem Sterling is worth £49m I wonder how much Oxlade-Chamberlain is worth... miles better than Sterling in my opinion.

BBC Sport's Danny Murphy:  "I was no Bob Latchford but I think I would have scored that. That was Chelsea's best chance yet."

Risky stuff from Per Mertesacker, who tries to play Loic Remy offside. He fails and is left scrabbling to try and recover as Remy escapes on the left. The striker crosses for Ramires, who rises to meet the ball and has to score, but somehow heads just over.

"Cesc Fabregas is now playing alongside Nemanja Matic. He was having no effect at all in the number 10 role and Willian is there now. I'd say that's the Brazilian's best position. Jose Mourinho made the change straight after the goal, and Chelsea are already looking better."

Next, Ramires has a pop from distance. Not far off. 

Pretty entertaining stuff so far at Wembley, the two teams are certainly not going through the motions anyway.
