    Roger Coates: Chelsea to win the league don't think anyone else will be good enough over the season. Top scorer Costa, Stoke surprise package around top 6 this season.

    While Jose Mourinho can gaze fondly at a picture of himself hugging the Premier League trophy - he probably has it as his desktop background - Arsene Wenger probably has to dust out Polaroids of him doing something similar.

    It has been 11 long years since he last guided Arsenal to the Premier League title, and he certainly seems more focused than ever on ending the wait this season, so much so that holidays were cancelled in the Wenger household this summer.

    “I had no break at all," he said. "I spent a lot of time at the training ground – but I recover, external there, because when there is no competition there is less stress.

    “I did not spend the whole holiday there, we organised a game for children for charity in Morocco. I had a few days off. But when I go on the beach I am in the press the next day. Where do people want me to go? So I go to the training ground.”

    If Jose Mourinho has his way, he is going to be around for a fair while yet. 

    The Chelsea boss says in today's Sunday Telegraph that he plans to be managing into his seventies.

    "I’m feeling very good,” he said. “I see myself now better than I was 10 years ago. I think I am in evolution, not even in stability.”

    As I mentioned earlier, Jose Mourinho has been having a bit of a dig at his rivals for spending big to become title contenders. He must have a short memory, if a recent study is to be believed.

    According to a report in the Independent,, external between 2004 and 2014 no manager in the world has spent more money that Mourinho during his spells with Chelsea, Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

    The report adds that Mourinho has spent £636m  -  more than twice as much as Arsene Wenger, whose spending weighs in at £300m.

    Some breaking transfer news to bring you: Manchester United's Angel Di Maria is set to have a medical in the next 24 hours before a proposed move to Paris St-Germain.

    The winger, a British record £59.7m signing last summer, is expected in Doha on Sunday to meet PSG officials.

    The fee for the 27-year-old Argentina international is believed to be about £44.5m.
