Cracking goal by Swansea, which started from the goalkeeper and finished with the ball in the back of the net. I make it 21 passes in the move.

Great start to the season so far for the Swans.

    Watford 0-0 West Brom

Troy Deeney has already flashed a header wide of goal for Watford. This time he goes even closer with a shot from the edge of the box that bounces in front of Boaz Myhill but is saved by the keeper. Watford are on top but have nothing to show for it so far.

    Sunderland 0-0 Norwich

A couple of chances for either side as first Seb Larsson has a go at goal with a hopeful shot from range, deflected behind for a corner which is then cleared.

Soon after, Robbie Brady tries his luck for the visitors, but his strike sails over the bar.

    Tottenham 0-0 Stoke

More good work from Christian Eriksen as the Spurs player forces another neat save from Jack Butland courtesy of a free-kick. Tottenham (and Eriksen in particular) have started with a spring in their step. Like an Aussie middle-order batsman on the first morning of a Test, Stoke are going to have to dig in.

    Bafetimbi Gomis (9 mins)

Well you can't say this had not been coming after a fantastic start by Swansea.

Jonjo Shelvey springs the offside strap with a defence-splitting pass and Bafetimbi Gomis rounds the goalkeeper before finishing.

That was a good strong wrist to the ball from keeper Jack Butland

    Sunderland 0-0 Norwich

No real chances as yet at the Stadium of Light, but a promising start by Norwich as they pass the ball around confidently. Mind you, they did the same against Crystal Palace last weekend before getting caught out a couple of times later in the match. They'll need to be more focused this time.

    Tottenham 0-0 Stoke

First real action at White Hart Lane as Christian Eriksen has a crack from the edge of the box for Tottenham, but his low drive is pushed past the post by Jack Butland. The resulting corner comes to nothing as Stoke clear the danger.

It's a wonderful atmosphere in the stadium today. Both teams were unfortunate to lose their opening day matches. Interesting to see Spurs play Eric Dier in central midfield.

I hope that Salomon Rondon's arrival at West Brom doesn't mean Saido Berahino is leaving. I think Tony Pulis needs them both. Berahino looks a happy player. It would be a mistake to let him go.

    West Ham 0-0 Leicester

Reece Oxford starts again for West Ham after his impressive debut against Arsenal. The 16-year-old reckons he is more nervous about receiving his GCSE results later this month that he was about facing the Gunners. Nerves of steel that lad.

He's in the thick of things early on as he causes the Leicester defence to panic a bit when he moves in for a free-kick, resulting in Wes Morgan heading on to this own bar.

    Watford 0-0 West Brom

Whether he succeeds or fails at Watford this season, Quique Flores is going to do it in style. He is from the Paulo Sousa school of dapper managers, going for the grey v-neck over shirt combo. None of that nonsense in the West Brom dug-out. Tony Pulis is a staunch tracksuit and cap man.

Watford v West Brom (15:00 BST)

A snapshot of Premier League life in two contrasting sets of supporters. The Watford fans are waving flags, bouncing on the spot, singing along and all smiles as they continue to bask in the optimism of life back in the top-flight. The West Brom supporters stand, arms folded, their faces a mix of apprehension and concern. That is what a few seasons of battling away in the Premier League can do to you.

Mark Hughes has good players in the team. Van Ginkel's a great get for me. Wollscheid did well when he came in last season. Can he mould them into a side who can finish seventh or eighth?
