Howls of 'off, off, off' from the Palace fans as Francis Coquelin sends Wilfried Zaha sprawling. The Arsenal midfielder was booked a few minutes ago and that could easily have been a second caution. He gets away with that big time.

The corner from the right comes to nothing. Francis Coquelin though picks up the ball fifty yards out and sprays a delicious cross-field pass to Aaron Ramsey. His touch inside the penalty area lets him down and the chance is gone.

Take a bow Alex McCarthy.Arsenal break with pace once again and, again, Mesut Ozil is at the centre of it.
His low cross from the left is flicked goalwards by Aaron Ramsey but the Palace goalkeeper brilliantly flings himself to his left to parry the ball away.

Arsenal attempt to get control back as they pass the ball round patiently in midfield. Santi Cazorla spots a hole in Palace's midfield and drives through it. After a bad pass and a spot of pin ball, it ends up back at Cazorla's feet but he shoots horribly over the bar from the edge of the area.

Alexis Sanchez gets in down the right and his cross-cum-shot is parried by goalkeeper Alex McCarthy. Joel Ward is then just able to stab clear before Olivier Giroud gets on the end of the rebound.
