A sweeping move from Manchester United ends in Juan Mata's close-range finish...
Swansea 0-1 Man Utd
Brilliant stop keeps Swansea in the game! Ashley Williams stretches to cut out a cross, can only slice it towards his own goal and Lukasz Fabianski stretches to tip it away with one hand.

"It's the first time we've seen Luke Shaw get forward all game. Ashley Williams at the back post is sleeping. He allows Mata to come round him. Williams is normally very good there but Mata's anticipation was a lot better."
Swansea 0-1 Man Utd
Ooof! That smarts! Luke Shaw stands on Andre Ayew as he makes a tackle, looked fairly accidental but very painful. Luckily Ayew is able to continue.
Juan Mata
And that wasteful free-kick from Jonjo Shelvey proves to be a problem as Manchester United counter quickly to catch out a Swansea defence still getting into shape. Luke Shaw motors down the left, swings in a cross which is missed by Wayne Rooney but net by Juan Mata at the back post - and he sweeps into the roof of the net.

"Rooney has got to stay up there, United need somebody up the top of the pitch when the likes of Mata and Herrera are breaking. What they don't want is Rooney coming deep to get more touches."
Swansea 0-0 Man Utd
Matteo Darmian gets into trouble after a slack pass out to him and he has no option but to chop Wayne Routledge down. Jonjo Shelvey to take the free-kick, but he wastefully shoots from way out when he had men in the middle.

We are back under way - no changes for either side.

Any price on that being the top four at the end of the season?

Is a lonely place.
Wayne Rooney had fewer touches in the first half than any other Man Utd player – including the goalkeeper. All his touches are shown below.

Andi's honeymoon is going well...
I'm currently on my honeymoon in the algarve, following the football via the BBC whilst the wife downs prosecco as a distraction. Swansea are my new second team (I'm a Gooner) overtaking Southampton and West Ham back in the early days of the Premier League, hope the Swans do the old fashioned smash and grab.....
Andi
Van Gaal has got his players scared to take risk! Build up is far too slow! Smalling dare not get close to Gomis!
Hayden, Hull
I don't see why the Premier League, or football in general hasn't adapted a more American spending and salary cap system, helps level the playing field, a team that comes bottom half one year could be European contenders a few years later, makes it a bit more interesting for supporters of any team, having to balance a team would be a management skill in itself.

Swansea 0-0 Man Utd
Manchester United have failed to score a first-half goal in six of their last 10 Premier League games (four scored in total).
And, in the five they failed to score in the first half before today - they also failed to score at all.
Swansea 0-0 Man Utd
Bastian Schweinsteiger has made more passes than anyone else in that first half, at a success rate of 87% - successful passes shown in green below. Not a great deal going forward mind.
Swansea 0-0 Man Utd

"Manchester United have been OK, but not exceptional. They haven't tested Fabianski. Swansea have dealt with everything that they've thrown at them."
Swansea 0-0 Man Utd
No goals, but plenty of good chances. Swansea will feel they should be ahead.
Swansea 0-0 Man Utd
Luke Shaw looking half the man and twice the player this season, bursting past Andre Ayew and swinging in a cross which the Swans defend well. Almost half-time now.
