    Swansea 0-0 Man Utd

Well played Ashley Williams! Wayne Rooney is clear of the Swans defence and looks certain to get a shot on goal, but WIlliams eats up the hard yards to get back and make a crucial challenge. Top defending.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is one of those players that I never thought I'd see playing in England. Just never gives the ball away. He is at the heart of a neat flowing move but Swansea defend it well.

"This isn't the start that the Swansea supporters are used to seeing. They usually start well, every player likes to have a feel of the ball, but Manchester United have put Swansea on the back foot."

The graphic below showing the average position of players from both teams so far, suggests Manchester United are very one-sided going forward early on...

    Swansea 0-0 Man Utd

We are yet to see another shot on goal since that early Memphis Depay free-kick. Swansea do put together a neat counter with Bafetimbi Gomis involved, but it ends as Wayne Routledge plays a blind pass the wrong way.

A terrific atmosphere inside the Liberty as the hosts begin to get on the ball more often. But, with Ander Herrera dropping in alongside Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, Manchester United look very solid in there.

Manchester United have had over 80% of the ball so far as they pen Swansea back deep into their own half. Jonjo Shelvey does see some rare ball and tries to ping it over the top for Wayne Routledge but Matteo Darmian is wise to it.

Textbook new-signing picture there from Kev on the Manchester City website... Pen, tick. Contract, tick. But where's the club scarf?

"I want to reach the highest level possible as a player and I think the most important thing is that at the end of the season we can be happy and maybe have some titles," he said., external

"I think this is the most important for the club, the players and for the fans of course."

When I moved to Manchester four years ago, I really should have become an estate agent in the 'high end' bracket.

Big Kev is on the move then, while another recent arrival to the area Memphis Depay fires in a free-kick which Lukasz Fabianski pushes clear.

Swansea v Man Utd (16:00 BST)

The Swansea players are in the tunnel lining up for battle. They are an inspiration to anyone supporting a lower league team aren't they?Doesn't feel five minutes since I was watching Northampton win at Swansea, now I wouldn't bat an eyelid if they stuffed Manchester United today. What a rise.

Wayne Rooney leads the visitors out, pausing to shake hands and exchange pleasantries with Jonjo Shelvey and Wayne Routledge (not sure the link there), someone sets off an air-raid siren - and it's go time!
