Maybe this isn't over yet... Moussa Sissoko squares the ball to Darly Janmaat inside the penalty area and his low shot is parried wide by West Ham goalkeeper Darren Randolph. Score soon and we could have an interesting finale.

Newcastle have had just one shot on target tonight, while West Ham have scored with both of their shots on target. The goalkeepers will have had busier nights.

Vurnon Anita skies a speculative volley over the bar and it is his last action as the midfielder is replaced by Siem de Jong. Florian Thuavin is also replaced by Ayoze Perez on the flank for Newcastle.

Boss Steve McClaren is looking pretty despondent and I'm not surprised. His side are looking worse by the minute.

    West Ham 2-0 Newcastle

The Hammers are almost gifted a third as Fabricio Coloccini sloppily gives the ball to Dimitri Payet on the right. He works his way to the bye line, but his low cross is just about cut out. The visitors look void of any belief...

    West Ham 2-0 Newcastle

It looks like being a miserable night for Newcastle and that is a miserable effort from their striker. Papiss Cisse swings his foot at the ball on the edge of the penalty area and his volley is well, well, well wide. West Ham more than happy to play on the break.

Dimitri Payet is on a hot streak of form.

Counting his time at Marseille last season, the West Ham man has now had a hand in 11 goals (four goals, seven assists) in his last 13 appearances.

Newcastle are in danger of being thrashed here.

"It was a great run from Victor Moses, showing the pace and strength. He got under his shot and lifted it on to the bar, but it was a good finish from Payet."

    Dimitri Payet

Brilliant break from West Ham again.

A long ball is latched on to by Victor Moses, who nods the ball in front of him around the halfway line and races clear of two defenders. He drops his shoulder to turn Massadio Haidara inside out inside the penalty area before striking a shot against the bar.

Dimitri Payet has the simple task of burying the rebound.
