That is lightning quick from West Ham. One moment they are defending a corner, the next they almost double the lead.
Victor Moses starts the move with a backheel on the edge of his own area, he keeps running and gets a return ball from Dimitri Payet sending him through on goal. His shot though, from an angle, goes wide.

Who needs the ball anyway? Newcastle have had nearly two-thirds of possession so far but it's not doing them much good.
They are enjoying a lot of the ball at the moment but, and this is what matters, they are doing very little with it.
West Ham look dangerous on the break with an abundance of pace at their disposal.

They can be guilty of overplaying at times though... This time, West Ham's Mark Noble plays a stupid square ball inside his own half, which is cut out by the visitors. Papiss Cisse chases in on goal but the ball is cleared by Angelo Ogbonna.
Massadio Haidara then spoons the ball wide from 20 yards for the Magpies.

That one is still rising. Manuel Lanzini picks the ball up centrally, 30 yards from goal, and the less said about the shot the better. The bloke in row Z caught it...
West Ham have got a bit of flair about them though. Lanzini, Victor Moses, Diafra Sakho, Dimitri Payet. The fans are loving it.

"That was a great opportunity. Unfortunately for Newcastle it fell on to Janmaat's left foot. It was a decent save but he should've given the goalkeeper no chance. This is a good period for Newcastle, certainly their best period of the game so far."
