In the other game in Celtic's group, Fenerbahce are sinking at home to Molde.

Former Manchester United winger Nani made it 1-1 just before half-time but it's now 3-1 to the Norwegian side. Hence the grimace from Robin van Persie.

Marseille are three goals up and coasting at Groningen, while Borussia Dortmund are still being held at home by Krasnodar.

Napoli have scored a fifth at home to Club Brugge, and it's still 1-1 in the other game in Liverpool's group between Sion and Rubin Kazan.

Half an hour until the 20:05 BST kick-offs. Paulo Sousa leads Fiorentina against his former club Basel, whose St Jakob Park stadium will host this year's final.

Last year's finalists Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk of Ukraine welcome Lazio, while Denmark's FC Midtjylland, who knocked out Southampton in the play-off round, are at home to Legia Warsaw.

German club Augsburg make their European debut away to Athletic Bilbao and Skenderbeu - the first Albanian club to reach the group phase of a major Uefa competition - host Besiktas of Turkey.

  6. Postpublished at 19:35

    Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpool

Emre Can concedes a corner having nearly put the ball into the back of his own net, sticking a foot out to stop a cross.

The set piece comes to nothing as Liverpool are able to clear. 12 minutes left.

  7. CLOSE!published at 19:35

    Ajax 1-2 Celtic

Davy Klaassen goes close for Ajax with a header after a teasing and tempting cross comes in from the left. He really should have scored.

A little more than 10 minutes for 10-man Celtic to hold out.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:34

    Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpool

Another change for Bordeaux as they look to get back into the game. Off comes Henri Saivet and on comes Andre Biyogo Poko.

  9. CLOSE!published at 19:31

    Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpool

There was your moment, Danny Ings. He brings down a pass, tries a the same finish as Adam Lallana, opening his body up and stroking it into the far corner, but Cedris Carrasso is wise to it, pushing the ball away.

At the other end, Enzo Crivelli's volley from the edge of the box is saved well by Simon Mignolet.

  10. RED CARD - Emilio Izaguirrepublished at 19:30

    Ajax 1-2 Celtic

The game becoming stretched in Amsterdam as Ajax continue their pursuit of an equaliser. Craig Gordon looking a lot more assured in goal for Celtic than his Ajax counterpart Jasper Cillessen - especially when it comes to aerial balls into the box.

Hmm, and then the task becomes a lot more complicated for the away side when Emilio Izaguirre sees red after a late challenge earns him a second booking.

    Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool are looking to add another goal.

Off comes Belgian Divock Origi, on comes Danny Ings.

    He'll get 18 minutes.

    Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpool

Bordeaux boss Willy Sagnol brings off the player who I thought was their most dangerous.

Here's me questioning the decision of a man who won five Bundesliga titles, the Champions League and came runner-up at a World Cup.

    Can the home side respond?

    This change is surprising though.

Javel Bleach : Every cross is just bunged into the box to no-one in particular! LALLANAAAAAAAA!!!!

Nick:  Lallana scores. I've just woken up.

Max Welford: Very Suarez-esque by Lallana!

Napoli are running riot at home to Club Brugge tonight. Taking out their frustration over not reaching the Champions League proper? Marek Hamsik has put the home side 4-0 up.

Fenerbahce have gone behind again at home to Molde in the other game in Celtic's group (it's now 1-2), while Sion and Rubin Kazan are level at 1-1 in the other game in Liverpool's group.

And Borussia Dortmund continue to struggle at home to Krasnodar of Russia - still 1-1 in Germany.

    GOAL - Bordeaux 0-1 Liverpoolpublished at 19:22

    Adam Lallana (65 mins)

    Beautiful!

Adam Lallana was given a start today and has repaid the faith shown in him by Brendan Rodgers.

Alberto Moreno gives a pass to him, and Lallana pops the ball through the legs of defender Pablo, before stroking in calmly into the far corner. Quality goal.

  19. CLOSE!published at 19:20

    Bordeaux 0-0 Liverpool

    How did he miss!!

Two Liverpool defenders go for the same ball and Nicolas Maurice-Belay is free at the back stick. He has time to bring the ball down and shoot, but Simon Mignolet does his best Peter Schmeichel impression to keep it out.

The ball falls to Enzo Crivelli a couple of yards out, but he can't sort his feet out and the chance goes begging.

    Bordeaux 0-0 Liverpool

Jordan Rossiter has done well for Liverpool this evening. Kept it simple when in possession and nicked the ball here and there. He attempts a long-range effort but it's comfy for Cedric Carrasso.
