"The most important thing is to get the three points, it was the target before the game and we did well after conceding the penalty. We started the game too slowly and after conceding, we picked up our level and came back into the game.

It was a solid performance from us. We were unfortunate to give away the first goal but it was a good overall display. They made us work for the win - they're not a bad side. They did well. I'm happy for Son that he got two goals and that I played a part. It's always good to help the team.

    Tottenham 3-1 Qarabag

Qarabag can go home with their heads held high, they'll cause Monaco and Anderlecht plenty of problems in this group.

Flashes of brilliance from the Azerbaijan champions, but they are ultimately beaten by Son Heung-min's double and Erik Lamela's dink.

Dele Alli almost caps his wonderful night off with a goal. He shows lovely footwork to make his way into the box, but the shot dribbles through to Ibrahim Sehic.

It was lovely composure from Lamela. That should do the Argentine's confidence a lot of good.

    Gorgeous!

Shouldn't laugh but this is quite amusing, Captain Rashad Sadygov makes a good sliding challenge but is attacked by cramp when he gets up.

Harry Kane picks the ball off him and puts Erik Lamela through, who waits for Ibrahim Sehic to go down, before dinking the ball over his head.

    Beauriful!

No laughing matter for Qarabag though.

My man Ibrahim Sehic is booked by the referee, rather harshly. It looks like he's been done for taking a goal kick outside his six-yard box. Sehic smiles in disbelief. Five to go.

Maksim Medvedev is a lucky boy! He brings down Spurs man Clinton N'Jie who is through on goal, but only receives a yellow card.

It was worth a go for Danny Rose. Quite an acute angle and he flashed it across the far post.
