    Tottenham 3-1 Monaco

Oh a real chance for Monaco to make it 3-2, but Nabil Dirar, unmarked, somehow heads wide from a corner.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 63 mins

    Tottenham 3-1 Monaco

No more goals for Erik Lamela as he is replaced by Nacer Chadli. As expected, a standing ovation from the home fans for his first-half hat-trick.

El Shaarawy just shapes opens up his body, he is 25 yards out from goal, it is a curling effort, the flight of the ball sort of deceives Hugo Lloris. It was inch perfect, he almost used Bentaleb as decoy to curl the ball around the substitute for a Monaco consolation.

GOAL - Tottenham 3-1 Monacopublished at 61 mins

    Stephan El Shaarawy

Monaco have a goal back, prompting few cheers from the away end. It is a fine goal as Kylian Mbappe picks out Stephan El Shaarawy on the edge of the area and he coolly finds the bottom corner with a curled finish. He doesn't celebrate. Very much a consolation goal for the French side.

Golden chance for Joshua Onomah to grab his first Tottenham goal! Son Heung-min pokes the ball through to the 18-year-old inside the area, he manages to evade one challenge wihich leaves him with just Danijel Subasic to beat, but he scuffs his shot straight at the keeper.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Tottenham 3-0 Monaco

That tussle with Nabil Bentaleb is pretty much Lacina Traore's final action in the game. He goes off to be replaced by Kylian Mbappe.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 51 mins

    Tottenham 3-0 Monaco

Nabil Bentaleb, after losing the ball, tries to win it back and brings down Lacina Traore. No mean feat given the size of the Monaco striker, but it earns him a booking.

    Tottenham 3-0 Monaco

It is almost like the mere presence of the Tottenham players make Monaco nervous.

Clinton Njie pounces on some hesitancy in the Monaco defence and charges forward, Erik Lamela in support. Njie's pass has a bit too much pace and Lamela has to go further wide than he would like, having to cross instead of shoot and the French side clear.

Former Chelsea and Wigan Franco di Santo has scored for Schalke against Asteras with the German side on track to top their group.

It is 0-0 between Besiktas and Sporting Lisbon with the Portuguese side needing a win to stand a chance of qualifying from group H.

With Lokomotiv Moscow beating Skenderbeu Korce, as it stands the Russians will top the group with Besiktas second. Big second-half coming up in Portugal.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Tottenham 3-0 Monaco

Tottenham, firmly on course to finish top of Group J, get things back under way.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:07

    Tottenham 3-0 Monaco

What do Tottenham do? Take their foot off the pedal and take it easy for the next 45 minutes or flex their muscles and go for more goals?

The players are back out, with Monaco making a change - Thomas Lemar on for Joao Moutinho.

Nothing is going Monaco's way at all tonight. Even if they were winning they wouldn't be going through the knockout stage as things stand, with Anderlecht - second in Group J - currently beating Qarabag 2-1. May as well go home.

Such a delight to watch Tottenham attack.

Monaco are caught in possession and immediately two Tottenham players counter. Two more surge up the pitch in support and it is suddenly four against two. A Monaco defender has to stab the ball out for a corner.
