How can Jurgen Klopp make Daniel Sturridge more resilient?

MAB Ahmad: Instead of playing in shorts Sturridge should be allowed to wear a body suit (Iron Man). The only problem would be the mobility.

Tone: Give Daniel Sturridge some milk before bed time to make him grow big and strong..

Furnace Smith: Klopp should be offering up prayers to St. Urridge, the patron saint of persistent nagging injuries.

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

FC Sion make a change, Ebenezer Assifuah goes off with Belgian winger Mujangi Bia on in his place.

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

The briefest moment of excitement for the away fans as Divock Origi is through on goal. The angle is tricky and he tries to take the ball around Andris Vanins, but the FC Sion keeper gets a hand to the ball and the chance is gone.

    Twenty minutes to go.

    Fenerbahce 1-0 Celtic

    Chris McLaughlin
    BBC Sport Scotland

"Has Diego's petulant kick just handed Celtic a lifeline? Just pride at stake remember but they have been poor so far and look in desperate need of a lift."

  6. RED CARDpublished at 19:27

    Fenerbahce 1-0 Celtic

Hope for Celtic. Fenerbahce are reduced to 10 men as Diego is given his marching orders for an angry swipe at Stefan Johansen.

  7. Ebenezer's not so goodpublished at 19:26

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

Close! Well, as close to a good chance as we have come in this half, which compared to most games is not that close.

A cross comes in for FC Sion forward Ebenezer Assifuah, who just needs to stick out a boot to meet it but misses and Simon Mignolet plucks the ball from the air. As you were.

How can Jurgen Klopp make Daniel Sturridge more resilient?

Jaffer, in Birmingham: Inject Sturridge with adamantium.

Only one man has survived that procedure Jaffer...

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:20

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp decides a bit of creativity is needed and sends on Philippe Coutinho for James Milner.

Coutinho is back after missing the last four games with a hamstring injury. He'll love this half-frozen pitch then...

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

FC Sion are doing all the pressing so far in this half but none of it is giving the Liverpool defence too much to worry about. The hosts win a corner, Carlitos takes it, finds Leo Lacroix's head but it bounces off him and high over the bar.

This game is still very, very low in  entertainment, but the home fans are loving it. Still chanting loudly.

"Celtic have started this second half the way they ended the first - gifting easy possession to the home side. Are they heading for their first ever European campaign without a win?"

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:11

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

The crowd are not happy with this - a second yellow card of the game for an FC Sion player. This time, Xavier Kouassi is penalised as he goes in late on Adam Lallana. He'll miss the next game for FC Sion, if they go through.

    FC Sion 0-0 Liverpool

An early attack from Liverpool as Divock Origi clips in a cross from just inside the area. The ball bounces off the onrushing James Milner's knee and into the hands of Sion keeper Andris Vanins. Roberto Fimino slaps his legs in frustration. If that ball had not struck Milner, it would have run through to the unmarked Brazilian.
