Brad Smith is right in the thick of things at the moment.

He pings in a cross, again looking for Divock Origi, but it just goes beyond the striker, before he attacks down the left again soon after. This time his cross is blocked for a corner, but James Milner's set piece is cleared.

Liverpool and Tottenham may have already sealed their place in the last 32, but that doesn't mean there is absolutely nothing to play for.

The 12 Europa League group winners and the four best third-placed teams from the Champions League group stage will be drawn against the 12 Europa League group runners-up and the remaining third-placed teams from the Champions League.

That means that while Liverpool and Tottenham can still get a Champions League dropout, finishing top of their group will give them a better chance of an easier draw in the knockout stage.
