England's defeat at the Rugby World Cup dominates the back of the Sunday Telegraph, but they do carry an interview, external with Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho, who opens up about his life at the club.

In Steven Gerrard's recent autobiography, he was glowing in his praise about Countinho, who in response says: “He is strongly missed not only by the fans but by the players as well.

"But it’s a different time in the club’s life now and we have to adapt to it and we have to do our best."

Sean Fleming: Last match of the season in year 11. Playing against our worst rivals. It was a dismal game. Nothing really happened. Last minute, our keeper, I guy I hated throughout all of school, belted the ball up to their end. I got the ball, beat one man, and scored the winner. For a brief moment we were friends.

Paul Levesley: I was a Groundsman for Sheff Utd, we played a back room staff friendly against Weds. They used ringers and we lost 5-2, Harry Bassett locked in changing rooms for 1st half.

We're after your tales of glory, or woe, from derby matches...

Jono Forwood: Captained a team in Bristol uni in 2nd and 3rd year, and scored my only goal for the uni in my last ever match, varsity against UWE (a rather sweet volley if I say so myself!).

Elliot: Drew 4-4 with Tiptree Minors against Tiptree Heath at Colchester United's stadium. 4-0 up at half time then I went in goal.

Joel: As I boy I made the controversial transfer from Gorleston Rangers u11s to Gorleston Athletic under-11s. Disappointingly, given I was one of the weaker players in the team, my first game back at my old ground wasn't quite met with the flying pigs' heads I had hope for.

It's been a while since Everton have tasted victory in a Merseyside derby - just under five years ago to be more exact.

The date was 17 October, 2010 when Tim Cahill and Mikel Arteta provided the goals either side of half-time to give the Toffees their last win over Liverpool.

Since then, in 10 games between the two sides there have been six draws and four wins for the Reds.

When Everton midfielder Niclas Alexandersson fouled Liverpool defender Gregory Vignal about 40 yards from goal who thought it would lead to one of the most famous derby moments between these two clubs.

Gary McAllister stepped up to take the free-kick and, instead of launching a ball into the Toffees area, he spotted keeper Paul Gerrard had left a big gap in his goal in anticipation of a cross and curled in a last-minute shot.

At the final whistle, Gerrard curled up, face down in despair as he probably wanted the Goodison Park turf to swallow him up as Reds players jumped about in joy.

McAllister returns to the ground today as assistant manager for the Reds so will he be a lucky charm?

Former England international Darren Bent is struggling to make derby's starting line-up and he didn't help his cause by being left out of the squad to face Brentford after getting stuck in a traffic jam.

"It wasn't his fault and it can happen," Rams head coach Paul Clement told BBC Radio Derby.

"I couldn't be totally sure exactly what time he would arrive and I had to name the team and the substitutes in his absence.

"Anyone can get into traffic and that was the case with Darren. Is it harsh? It's unfortunate and not something I wanted to do."
