    Swansea 0-3 Arsenal

Joel Campbell is enjoying himself now. He has a pop from the edge of the box but it is always rising and clears the bar. Why not have a go, though? This game is done and dusted.

Paul: Jamie Vardy scores again!! Best English striker we've got right now by a mile.

Hadi: LVG needs to be replaced if MUFC want to finish in top four. He's just a defence coach. He lacks winning mentality.

Marlo: Arsenal seem to have the ability to just blow away any team in 10 minute spells. Also Flappyhandski showing why Arsenal let him go.

    Newcastle 0-0 Stoke

Stoke have a pop at goal but Jon Walters' angled strike sails over the bar.

  4. 'Would United take a point at Palace?'published at 16:35 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2015

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Man Utd

    Chris Sutton
Former Norwich striker on Final Score

"I think Cabaye could head that and I don't think he'd miss with a header from that range. But United are still in this game, and is a point at Palace the worst point? They haven't offered enough going forward, that's fair to say, but I don't mind van Gaal biting back to Paul Scholes. That's his personality. We were critical of United conceding goals last year and they've sorted that out."

  5. Postpublished at 16:35

    Watford 2-0 West Ham

Since Enner Valencia hit the post, West Ham have offered little to suggest a dramatic turnaround is in the offing at Vicarage Road. Watford are heading for fourth win of the season and the top half of the table.

Andy Williams is on song for Doncaster who now lead 2-0 against Colchester as Darren Ferguson closes in on a first home win as manager.

Rochdale have pulled one back at Southend to trail 2-1 thanks to Joe Bunney and will now be eyeing a fourth successive draw.

Crewe haven't won at home since March but are leading Sheffield United 1-0 thanks to Ryan Colclough.

Back in the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday are 1-0 up against Nottingham Forest.

Former Watford striker Fernando Forestieri has bagged his fourth goal in six games with Forest now looking at a seventh game without a win.

    Jamie Vardy (77 mins)

    Jamie Vardy, stop it!

He's good, isn't he? The striker is played in on goal by Danny Drinkwater and after turbo-blasting clear of three West Brom defenders, he powers the ball home.

He's now scored in eight matches in a row. Only Daniel Sturridge (9) and Ruud van Nistelrooy (10) can better that.

Now Scott Dann heads wide from inside the area.

Then, moments later Dwight Gayle's shot is saved by David De Gea.

    Palace turning it up here.

  9. goal

    Joel Campbell

Game over. The second goal was controversial but there is no doubting this one. Joel Campbell, given a chance by his manager courtesy of a first Premier League start, comes up with a good finish, through bodies into the far bottom corner, after being found on the right side of the box by a low cross from Mesut Ozil.

Nicolas Otamendi had not scored a competitive goal for Manchester City before today - he has now. He did not have a song either, but that box is ticked too. The chant of 'Nic-o-las Ot-amendi' has been echoing around Etihad Stadium. It is fair to say that goal was greeted by as much relief as delight by the home fans but I got a very good view of Norwich boss Alex Neil with his head in his hands as his players trudged back to the halfway line for the restart. After the way they have defended today, it was a very soft one to concede.

  11. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:29

    Watford 2-0 West Ham

Meanwhile, at Vicarage Road, Enner Valencia has hit the post after collecting a poor back pass. It's not West Ham's day.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:29

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Man Utd

Got to score from there. Got to.

Yohan Cabaye is teed up from six yards. Joel Ward didn't just put it on a plate for him, he added the seasoning. But the Frenchman turns the ball wide from six yards out.

    Newcastle 0-0 Stoke

Newcastle are bossing this contest now, with Stoke starting to tire.

You know what comes next, don't you Newcastle fans?

A Stoke goal would sum up the Magpies' season.

  14. 'Neil tearing his hair out'published at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2015

    Man City 1-0 Norwich

    Chris Sutton
Former Norwich striker on Final Score

"It's a wonderful header, but if he had any hair Alex Neil would be tearing it out because Norwich have had a vulnerability from set pieces all season. They've been dogged but yet again conceded from a set piece."

    Laurent Koscielny

Controversy! The ball is swung in to the box towards Laurent Koscielny, who appears to foul Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski, causing him to drop the ball, before collecting and slotting into the empty net. Everyone stopped but the Arsenal defender. To say Swansea are unhappy is an understatement. Saying that, they should have played to the whistle. Arsenal in total control now.

Manchester United bring on Marouane Fellaini in place of Bastian Schweinsteiger. A change in emphasis going forward, perhaps?

  17. Murphy's law for leaderspublished at 16:23 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2015

    Football League latest

Championship leaders Brighton - still unbeaten in the league - have gone 1-0 front at Reading thanks to Jamie Murphy's second goal in three games.

Fourth-placed Middlesbrough also lead 1-0 against struggling Charlton thanks to a David Nugent strike.

Second-half goals are in short supply elsewhere but there is one at Brunton Park.

Carlisle were 2-0 down to struggling Yeovil but Macaulay Gillesphey's first goal in senior football has pulled the Cumbrians level in League Two.

    Nicolas Otamendi

Deadlock broken. In the simplest of fashions. Kevin de Bruyne's corner is met by Nicolas Otamendi, whose header from the penalty spot is too powerful for John Ruddy and fires into the roof of the net. The relief floods through the Etihad. Like the moment that trick or treaters leave your doorstep and you can come out from behind the settee.

GOAL - West Brom 1-2 Leicesterpublished at 16:20

    Riyad Mahrez (64 mins)

It's as if Leicester thrive on having to force a comeback.

They've done it again - Riyad Mahrez ghosting in behind to smash home from close range.

Good news for those who've got the mercurial forward in their fantasy football team.

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:19

    Newcastle 0-0 Stoke

Aleksandar Mitrovic could cause trouble in an empty telephone box. He's just had Philipp Wollscheid booked after making a Rivaldo-style meal of a chest push.

All after he'd barged the big defender in the back. It's never dull with the boy Mitrovic.
