And so, where do they go from here? More poignantly, where does he - Jose Mourinho - go from here?

He's looked a nightmare square in the face and it's not even dark. Halloween night to come Jose. Try not to jump when the phone rings, it could be Roman...

Thanks for your company today. We will have all the reaction as the day progresses. Lock into some of our other live texts now though, there's one up on every Premier League game.

  2. Where did they win it?published at 15:50 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2015

Just how bad was it? Liverpool played 568 passes to 421 by the home side.

Granted, that can mean little, but the Reds were more accurate, finding a teammate 83% of the time to the Blues' 79%.

It created eight more shots for Liverpool - with 16.

As for stand-out players, Lucas Leiva and Mamdou Sakho touched the ball over 90 times, that's more than anyone else on the field.

Just what was this all about after the game?

Jose Mourinho and his staff on the pitch in a huddle having what looked like quite an intense conversation. Was it some sort of 'see you round' chat, or just game specific. It just looked odd.

Not sure what to make of this. It is after all just a league win on the road. It's not a trophy just yet.

Some would all it a mothers' meeting, but I can tell you that Jose Mourinho and his coaching staff are stood in the centre circle at Stamford Bridge having a full discussion. Rui Faria is having his say, as is Steve Holland but Mourinho is the most vocal. There are lots of hand gestures as they chat. What are they debating.

Is this a man plotting what must change? Or a man chatting to his comrades about what happens with his - and their own - future.

  8. Manager reactionpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 31 October 2015

Jurgen Klopp is asked if Liverpool are ready to fight for the league: "Oh, please are you crazy. I don't want to be not friendly with you but of course we don't think about this. We can do much better than today but today, a deserved win, let's go home."

Jurgen Klopp on Jose Mourinho's future: "I feel for him. He's a great coach. I don't think anyone in this room doubts hes one of the best in the world. Things like this happen. I had a similar situation at Dortmund last year. The good thing was no one in the club wa sin doubt of my situation. I feel for him of course but it's work."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaks at his news conference: "We had not the best start, that's the truth. We had our moments, our build up with short passes was very good. They tried to make pressure but we could play in the spaces in between.

"We had control of these situations. We made a goal and deserved the draw at half time. The second half was open and we made our goals at perfect moments for us. I feel it's deserved. We have worked hard but it's normal if you want to win in Chelsea."

Mourinho was asked whether he thought he would have been allowed to berate fourth official Lee Mason in the same manner as Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

He said: "I can't say because I'm punished."

Asked what Mason said when he raised the subject he added: "He told me to shut up or I will go out."

Jose Mourinho has just given us a little more and is about to conduct his news conference.

He tells BBC Sport: "What I see from my players was good until a moment where they felt it was impossible to do better.

"The fight goes on but sometimes there are fights that are very impossible to win. I can play against any team, against any manager, win, lose but more than this..."

It would appear from the questioning, though we are not at liberty to say for sure, he is referencing the foul Lucas committed in the second half when already on a yellow card.  His news conference is coming up...

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho repeatedly asked about the performance and his future: “I have nothing to say. I have nothing to say. I have nothing to say. I’m so sorry I have nothing to say. The fans are not stupid. I am not worried [about his future]. “
