James in London: I watched Man Utd in 1988-90, Ferguson's first couple of full seasons. The football was dire and they could not even get in top half of the table, let alone the top four!

Nick from Swindon: Does Van Gaal not see the logic of playing Martial as centre forward with Rooney in behind? World-class coach? Come on, it's staring you in the face.

Rashid from Stretford: The current United side is so similar to the last boring side during the Sexton era. They were painful to watch too.

"Manchester United will create chances. Louis van Gaal is playing a team that are hard to beat. It will change because there are quality players there – they just need to be patient."

    GOAL - Bournemouth 0-1 Newcastlepublished at 13:12

    Ayoze Perez (27 mins)

Bournemouth have been on top but one move slices their defence wide open and Newcastle take the lead. A season in a nutshell?

Ayoze Perez breezes into space and hammers a low shot which Adam Federici gets a hand to, but can't stop.

This is a tough game for Sunderland because Southampton are not just on a good run of results, they are also really starting to play well and will be a real handful.

The way the Black Cats were so open in their 6-2 defeat by Everton, especially after getting back to 2-2, will have driven Sam Allardyce mad.

Allardyce will have been drilling his defence all week so I am expecting some sort of improvement from them at the back - they certainly could not be much worse.

That's better! Best move of the game as Josh King does brilliantly to take on Fabricio Coloccini, beat him and then get a shot away. Rob Elliot makes a sprawling save.

Man Utd v West Brom (15:00 GMT)

Manchester United's attacking verve, or lack of, is a recurring theme that we will keep coming back to today.

Is this the most boring Manchester United side you can remember? Or are you a big fan of Louis van Gaal's possession first approach?

Last season Manchester United fans were yelling 'defend, defend, defend' because they were conceding too many. I think United will get better but I don't think Wayne Rooney should be playing up top.

    Leicester v Watford (15:00 GMT)

Leicester were unbelievable again last week with the way they came back to beat West Brom. They just never stopped attacking the Baggies, and got their reward.

What the Foxes have achieved so far this season is absolutely outstanding but Watford have surprised a few people as well, myself included.

The Hornets had a very good result last weekend too, beating West Ham, and they will not make it easy for Leicester.

A lengthy stoppage as Leeds defenders Scott Wootton and Liam Cooper clash heads, Cooper down and seemingly out. The medical staff from both clubs see to him and it looks like he'll be leaving the pitch on a stretcher.
