What Eddie Howe needs to understand is he has our 100% support. He’s got it right so far and there’s nothing to suggest that he won’t leave us were we want to be at the end of the season.

    The teams are out!

Eddie Howe's home side have proved to be fast starters with two thirds of their goals netted in the opening half an hour of matches (eight out of 12); the highest proportion in the top flight.

    So don't go anywhere.

How many groundsmen does it take to prepare a Premier League pitch? There are at least five prodding and probing at the surface in Bournemouth as Newcastle's players line up in the tunnel. Almost set for the start of the Premier League day.

  4. 'Stick with your principles'published at 12:26 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2015

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (12:45 GMT)

    Terry Butcher
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"When Bournemouth have had success with particular principles you don’t want to throw that away by trying to get the results. If you have confidence in a system why change? They're learning and playing some good football."

The sun has very much not got his hat on today in Bournemouth. It's a bleak, wet, cold lunchtime kick-off, Papiss Cisse warming up in a bobble hat.

I'll bring you the major events from that game but for full blow-by-blow coverage join Al Magowan here.

A huge game in West Yorkshire this afternoon, against two rival clubs who are not experiencing the best of times in the Championship.

18th-placed Leeds United, whose problems have been well documented, travel the 20 miles to face Huddersfield Town, who are one place lower in league.

The Terriers sacked boss Chris Powell during the week and named German David Wagner as his replacement. He's in the stands today.

    Bournemouth v Newcastle (12:45 GMT)

    Terry Butcher
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

"Both teams are low on results but confidence is high in both camps because they've played decent football. Newcastle have picked up a draw and a win in their last three games and are making chances. When you're playing well you know results will come."

You've been telling us about your first time matchday experiences...

Karen Avard: My Dad's first date with my Mum was Chelsea v Fulham in 1956, with a egg and chip supper after. They're still together and have been married 57 years. Dad still supports Chelsea - Mum, however, is a Fulham supporter...

John Tate: My first game my dad took me to was Santos of Brazil v Plymouth Argyle, though I don't really remember it as I was about five!

Dave Worley: Never convinced the missus to come to the Albion yet but we did bizarrely see Stourbridge 3-3 Kendal in the FA Trophy in 2011. I'm from Stour, she's from Kendal so thought it would be a laugh. She paid little attention throughout but went berserk when Kendal scored a late equaliser. There's a football fan in there somewhere...

    More first-timers at football matches...

Eli from London: I took my lifelong Arsenal supporting Grandma to her first ever Gunners game - the Community Shield this year. Happened to coincide with Wenger's first win over Mourinho... I'd say Arsene should give her a season ticket!

Dan in Glouchestershire: Went with my wife to her first ever football game - the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Win 2-1 with a stunner, then comes a pitch invasion. Someone uses her back to leapfrog onto the pitch. She hasn't been since...
