  2. CHANCE!published at 16:21

    Man City 2-1 Southampton

    Put your foot through it!

Glorious chance for the Saints to equalise but after dancing through a non-existent challenge Dusan Tadic tries the cheeky chip when a low shot was all it needed. Willy Caballero makes the save.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:19

    Aston Villa 1-1 Watford

The oxygen is out for Watford stopper Heurelho Gomes and there is a lot of concern for him.

He has been put in a neck brace and will play no further part. Lithuania international Giedrius Arlauskis makes his Premier League debut in his place.

Bad news for leaders Coventry - a terrible error by keeper Reice Charles Cook has allowed Nathan Tyson to equalise for Doncaster. It's 1-1. Penny for the thoughts of Sky Blues legend Steve Ogrizovic, now the club's goalkeeping coach.

After an early scare at home to managerless Colchester, third-placed Burton look to be on course for victory, leading 3-1 thanks to a Tom Naylor goal.

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Bournemouth put together a neat move along the edge of the penalty area which ends with Tim Howard saving well at his near post before Romelu Lukaku is very close to turning in a dangerous cross at the other end.

Plenty of pressure from Aston Villa. Alan Hutton whips in a low cross from the right and Watford defender Craig Cathcart smashes straight into his own goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes.

The former Spurs stopper is down with a head injury. He is moving but appears to be in some pain.

Rob from Newcastle: Reckon Ant and Dec are free next weekend? Might get a game...

David in Bournemouth: To all those who say: "I bet you wish Pardew never left". No I don't, but that doesn't mean we're happy with McClaren.

Steve from Surbiton: Steve McCaren has to be the most overrated coach in English football history. Nice guy, but what has he ever done as a manager in this country? You have to be judged on winning games, not because you were Alex Ferguson's sidekick!

  9. CLOSE!published at 16:15

    Crystal Palace 4-1 Newcastle

The abiding memory of this game will be Newcastle defenders watching a cross go across their penalty area. Nobody stops the cross coming in, Chancel Mbemba and Fabricio Coloccini stand and watch it, and Yannick Bolasie stretches to shoot over the top.

Simple as you like from Southampton for their goal. Steven Davis to Dusan Tadic to Sadio Mane, whose cross is headed in from close range by Shane Long.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:14

    Sunderland 0-0 Stoke

    Almost the opener for Sunderland.

Substitute Jeremain Lens switches play to Yann M'Vila. The midfielder is unmarked on the right of the area but his low strike is well kept out by Jack Butland.

The goalkeeper is at again seconds later as he brilliantly tips over Sebastian Coates' header.

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa striker on Final Score

"Shane Long gets up very early, he does not give the defender a chance, he puts his elbow on the shoulder and he can't get up, a great goal."

  14. 'A simple goal for Southampton'published at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2015

    Man City 2-1 Southampton

    Danny Mills
Former Man City defender at the Etihad for 5 live Sport

"Great cross into the box and a simple goal for Southampton.

"Sterling allowed Bertrand to run in behind him. It was a great climb by Long, a powerful header, and the City keeper had no chance. Suddenly, it's now game on!

"City had been so dominant, but they switched off for just 30 seconds and now they've conceded."

    Crystal Palace 4-1 Newcastle

Not only have Palace wingers scored three of their four goals, but they're also putting in plenty of successful crosses.

Newcastle, in the opening 55 minutes or so, have not succeeded with a single cross.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:11

    Crystal Palace 4-1 Newcastle

Newcastle's defence turn their back on a ball over the top and don't bother chasing a lost cause, Palace keep it alive and when the cross comes in Jason Puncheon punches a shot inches wide. Desire? Determination? One side has it in spades...

  17. Postpublished at 16:10

    Aston Villa 1-1 Watford

All to play for at Aston Villa. Watford having plenty of the ball but not much to get the fans out of their seats in this half yet.
