  1. Postpublished at 16:07

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Everton should make it three at the end of another swift counter but James McCarthy makes the wrong choice, squaring it when a shot was on and the chance has gone. At the other end Matt Ritchie tests Tim Howard from range.

  2. 'Bolasie was left totally free'published at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2015

    Crystal Palace 4-1 Newcastle

    Kevin Kilbane
Former Everton winger on Final Score

"It wasn't even a great ball in from Crystal Palace, but whenever a ball is played into the Magpies' area no defender goes and challenges it for it. And Bolasie was left totally free."

  3. Championship latestpublished at 16:07 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2015

Brighton manager Chris Hughton said recently that his team's unbeaten record was of little use if they kept drawing too many games. His side, without a defeat in 17 Championship matches this season, lie third after drawing four of their last five, and are being held 1-1 at home by an impressive Birmingham side.

A win for Hughton's team would see them take over top spot from Derby, who won 2-0 at Hull last night, but Middlesbrough are lurking too, and will move level on points with Paul Clement's side if they hold the 1-0 lead they currently have at Huddersfield. Burnley, who started the day in fifth, trail to Aron Gunnarsson's goal at Cardiff.

At the bottom, Rotherham lead Bristol City 2-0 thanks to two goals from Jonson Clarke-Harris, while MK Dons are drawing 0-0 at Wolves. Managerless Fulham trail 1-0 at home to Preston, while QPR's game against Leeds is goalless. Elsewhere, Blackburn and Nottingham Forest both lead.

  4. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 16:06

    Crystal Palace 4-1 Newcastle

This could get really, really, really embarrassing for Newcastle. Again, they cannot defend a cross and Wilfried Zaha is free to volley against the post.

    Palace are exhilarating, Newcastle excruciating...

  5. RED CARD FOR STOKEpublished at 16:05

    Ryan Shawcross

Rampaging from Sunderland striker Duncan Watmore. Head down and charge.

First of all he is stopped, fairly, but the ball is played back to him and, as he flicks it past Ryan Shawcross, the Stoke defender clips him.

A second yellow card and he is gone. What a chance for Sunderland to secure a second successive win.

"Keep it tight for the first 15 minutes lads and see how we ahhhhhhhh...."

Newcastle picked open again within seconds of the restart. So poor defensively as a free-kick is headed back across goal and Yannick Bolasie is all alone to volley in. Shambles.

And we are back under way!

  8. 'Great response from Villa'published at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2015

    Aston Villa 1-1 Watford

    Dion Dublin
Former Aston Villa striker on Final Score

"I am looking at Aston Villa to see if they can build on their last 10 minutes. In the first-half Watford came flying out of the blocks and then Micah Richards, the captain, stood up and got the goal. It was a great response and now it is about game management. Can they go on now?"

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:02

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Bournemouth keeper Adam Federici was struggling with an injury in that first half and he has not reappeared. Ryan Allsop makes his Premier League debut.

  11. League Two latestpublished at 16:00

It's been a turbulent time for Northampton of late, with all sorts of financial troubles, but former Oxford owner Kelvin Thomas' takeover promises brighter times ahead, and they're maintaining a promotion challenge on the pitch as they lead bottom club Yeovil 1-0 with a goal from Lawson D'Ath.

Leaders Plymouth are drawing 0-0 at Dagenham and Redbridge, while second-placed Oxford are goalless at Hartlepool. Portsmouth, who began the day in fourth, trail 2-1 at Wycombe. Accrington, in fifth, are well-placed to capitalise, leading 2-0 at York with goals from Matty Pearson and Billy Kee.

Of the chasing pack, Leyton Orient, Carlisle and Mansfield all lead.

  12. Postpublished at 15:59

    HT: Aston Villa 1-1 Watford

Aston Villa have gone 12 league games without a victory  and could equal the club record of 13 consecutive winless matches, set from March to September 2012.

They could also equal the club record of eight consecutive home matches without a league win.

Stay positive though Villa fans, you aren't looking bad...

  13. Postpublished at 15:55

    Bournemouth 0-2 Everton

Everton have been excellent again Gary. As they were last weekend.

They will have to face tougher opposition than Aston Villa and Bournemouth though.

  16. League One latestpublished at 15:51

Coventry have moved to the top of League One on the back of a 10-match unbeaten run, and are on course to extend that sequence, leading Darren Ferguson's Doncaster 1-0 thanks to on-loan Newcastle forward Adam Armstrong's 13th goal of the season.

Burton, who started the day in third, have come from one down to lead managerless Colchester 2-1; Abdenasser El Khayati and Mark Duffy the scorers.

Second-placed Gillingham are drawing 1-1 at Shrewsbury; Walsall, in fouth, lead Bradford, in sixth. Wigan, lying fifth, are drawing 0-0 at Southend. Leads elsewhere for Peterborough, Millwall, Swindon, Blackpool and Crewe, while Rochdale have equalised at home to Port Vale, where it's 1-1.

  17. 'Saints are lucky'published at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2015

    Man City 2-0 Southampton

    Danny Mills
Former Man City defender at the Etihad for 5 live Sport

"Southampton looked good for about 30 seconds which woke City up and they have been brilliant since and superb going forwards. Southampton have given the ball away unnecessarily in dangerous areas of the pitch, in the middle and final third.

"They are lucky it is only 2-0. The next goal is crucial, if Southampton are able to nick it then game on but if City get it then we might as well go home and get by the fire."

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49

    Sunderland 0-0 Stoke

It hasn't been a classic. Sunderland looking resolute and organised though - a very different proposition to a few weeks ago.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48

    Man City 2-0 Southampton

City flew out of the traps but Southampton came back into it - the rain is absolutely smashing down at the Etihad.
