    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Lukasz Fabianski is called into action to deny a free-kick from recently crowned BBC African Footballer of the Year, Yaya Toure. The Swansea keeper performs his task well, diving to his left to palm the goal-bound shot away.

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Southampton

So Palace are 45 minutes away from consigning an unwanted record to the past. The Eagles have not beaten Southampton in 12 previous Premier League meetings (going back to 1991) - and look determined to get one over on their bogey team.

Yannick Bolasie dances forward as the Southampton defence shimmies backwards, but his cross cannot be turned goalwards by ex-Saints winger Jason Puncheon. Positive start from the home side.

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

More encouragement for Swansea who get a sight of goal as Gylfi Sigurdsson weaves into the box. When the shot does finally come, though, it is blocked by a home defender. The Welsh side are far from out of this game.

The four Premier League games are back under way.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:02

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Fabian Delph comes on for Raheem Sterling for City. No news on whether that is tactical or injury-based. This kind of game, in these conditions, probably suits Delph better.

We're getting shots of fans sat in the stands at the Etihad. I think it is fair to say most of them are wondering why they didn't stay at home today. Still, at least their side is winning. It could be worse. The teams are on their way back out.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:58

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

You know we said there has been little goalmouth action at the Boleyn Ground? Here's the evidence....

Home striker Andy Carroll (left) has not even had a touch in the Stoke penalty area, instead being frustrated by the close attentions of Ryan Shawcross.

And Stoke's Bojan - nominally their 'centre-forward' with Marko Arnautovic on the left and Ibrahim Afellay on the right - has only touched the ball once in the opposition box.

Championship leaders Brighton, the only unbeaten side left in England's top four tiers, have nee pegged back at Derby, for whom Bradley Johnson has score the equaliser.

As it stands, Hull are going third thanks to a 1-0 lead over rock-bottom Bolton.

    Norwich 1-1 Everton

    Jason Roberts
Former West Brom striker on Final Score

Earlier today, Norwich and Everton drew 1-1, with Wes Hoolahan equalising for the home side after Romelu Lukaku's opener. Here is what Jason Roberts had to say on Final Score...

"Everton, attacking-wise in the first half, were excellent, but Norwich did not have to be too sophisticated to break them down in the second half."

    Sunderland 0-1 Watford

A welcome break for both sides at a wet, miserable Stadium of Light. The home fans are understandably frustrated after Odion Ighalo's early goal gave Watford the lead and a mixture of poor play and even worse weather made a response increasingly unlikely. Chance to regroup now, though.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47

    Crystal Palace 1-0 Southampton

Palace have created the better chances - and therefore deserve their half-time lead. But the stats put a favourable spin on things for the Saints. They have enjoyed more possession and actually had more attempts on goal. But Palace keeper Wayne Hennessey has only got his gloves dirty once - a wonderful stop from Shane Long when the game was still goalless.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

West Ham briefly threaten in the final throes of the first half. Michail Antonio - who looked lively with his pace and movement - sticks a toe on the end of Aaron Cresswell's low left-wing cross. But the ball loops over the Stoke goal. That is the first half in a microcosm - scrappy. Time for 15 minutes of reflection.

    West Ham 0-0 Stoke

Still little to report in the way of goalmouth action. Hammers midfielder Mark Noble bursts from deep and tumbles in the Stoke box. We're not convinced that is a penalty. And, more importantly, neither is referee Andre Marriner.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47

    Man City 1-0 Swansea

Wilfried Bony's goal (against his former club) is the difference. But Joe Hart has had more to do in the home goal. The rain is not helping matters. It is not a great game.

    Sunderland 0-1 watford

Heurelho Gomes is called into action for Watford with a good save to stop a header from his own defender Allan Nyom - from a Sunderland free-kick - finding the net.
