Just under half an hour of normal time remaining in Eindhoven and little sign of a goal - which will suit Atletico Madrid just fine. You feel PSV need to take a first leg lead to Spain in three weeks time if they are to stand a real chance of advancing. Atletico have just sent on Fernando Torres for Luciano Vietto. Can the former Liverpool striker give his side the edge?

Oooh hello. Raheem Sterling makes a mug of Dynamo defender Aleksandar Dragovic, then crumbles to the turf when perfectly placed to shoot after skinning him. Surely he wouldn't voluntarily go down there?! Referee Antonio Mateu Lahoz doesn't think it is a penalty. Sterling begs to differ.

The City winger appeals, gets nothing and smashes his fist into the ground. Replays show that Senor Mateu is correct. There was contact but it was entirely accidental.

Needless. City left-back Gael Clichy sloppily gives the ball away inside his own half, inviting Dynamo to attack. City recover, initially at least, before Andriy Yarmolenko has another dig at the Frenchman. The Ukraine star cuts inside from the right, breezing past Clichy, before smashing a left-foot striker past the far post. It's close but it's not quite right.
