The Polish don't really know how to play out. If they don't change that eventually the pressure will be too big for them.

Sami Khedira has a pop from distance, but he gets his shot all wrong and ends up almost hitting the corner flag. Slow start to this game.

Pass, pass, pass. There's only so many ways you can say it is all Germany, but it is all Germany. Poland are keeping disciplined and keeping their shape and doing a solid job of keeping Germany away from their area, though.

You can already see we only try to use the width of the box and play through the middle. If we go on like that it will be very difficult.
Germany 0-0 Poland
Poland haven't had a look in yet. They are waiting for an error that will present them with a chance to break on the counter, but Germany have been very efficient on the ball.

Polish fans making loads of noise every time Germany are in possession, which could make for a long night for the vocal chords given the way Toni Kroos has started.
The Real Madrid midfielder is heavily involved already, setting the tempo of this contest.Poland more urgent but ill-considered in possession.

Joachim Low comes out into the technical area and is keeping his hands where we can see them.

That was a good chance for Gotze, if it was Gomez I think we would lead 1-0.
Germany 0-0 Poland
As expected, plenty of possession from Germany in these opening stages as Poland sit deep. It is the world champions who fashion the first chance as Julian Draxler pings in a cross from wide left, but Mario Gotze heads over.

I'm not sure if that was a tactical foul. A little trip. In the first two or three minutes you can already see the German weakness. Kroos to the left-back Hector who has to play backwards because he cannot pass people.
Germany 0-0 Poland
No messing about from referee Bjorn Kuipers. Three minutes in and he whips out the yellow card. It's shown to Sami Kedira after a crunching challenge early doors.

And we're off!
It's Germany who get us under way.

A rousing effort from Germany as well.
Handshakes and one last rallying call from the respective team captains.
We are good to go.

National anthems time. First up, Poland. The players, chins up, belt out the words. Always good to see such passion.

Quote MessageWinning against Germany in the Euro qualifiers was a really important moment for the development of this team. But with our good players, such important wins would have come around sooner or later. We believe in ourselves but we face one of the best teams in the world so it is going to be very, very difficult. Every game here is a special day for us. We are proud we are here representing Poland.

Quote MessagePoland are well organised, that's their biggest strength. They wait, they counter attack. That's their game, quick transitions. They are even better than Ukraine in that sense, because they are more flexible. They are one of the best counter-attacking teams I have seen over the past two years.

A daunting task for Poland tonight against an in-form Germany side, although I wasn't massively impressed by their display in the opening game.
The massive team shirts are out on the pitch and some white clothed dancers are bopping along to what I can only assume is some David Guetta tune.
It's almost time for kick off.
