I have no affiliation to Ukraine or Poland, but I do have a neighbour who is Polish.

I remember his antics during the qualifiers, cheering wildly each time his country bagged against either minnows Gibraltar or Scotland.

He'll be bouncing at home right now. The Polish supporters inside Stade Velodrome are doing exactly the same.

I think Mario Gomez should have scored again, another wonderful save from Michael McGovern. Khedira was allowed to run far too far for me, he ran at least 30 yards with the ball.

I've lost count of how many saves Michael McGovern has made.

This time he frustrates Sami Khedira but the ball rebounds to Mario Gomez who spurns another chance by heading wide.

One or two encouraging attacking signs for Northern Ireland as Stuart Dallas finds Conor Washington inside the German area but he can't get a shot away.

It's Washington's last action as a huge roar goes up to welcome Kyle Lafferty.

His country needs him.

If Poland get a few here, they may well top the group. 

Germany lead Northern Ireland 1-0, so a healthier goal difference will take the Polish top of Group C.

Bit of polish needed on the finishing though.
