    Wycombe 1-1 Aston Villa

    Clive Allen
BBC Radio 5 live at Adams Park

"You can understand the frustration and disappointment of the Aston Villa fans.

"Villa dealt with the onslaught at the beginning of the first half and took the lead.

"Wycombe came out the same way in the scone and got their equaliser. the draw is a fair result.

"Villa did not show the Premier League skill or ability. It looked at one point they had control of the game but that quickly disappeared. As soon as they conceded, they did not recover from that, they did not take the game to Wycombe.

"The financial rewards are great for Wycombe. What a horrendous game it will be for Aston Villa in the replay at Villa Park with the form they have had their this season."

    Brian Little
Former Aston Villa player & manager on BBC WM 95.6

Jordan Ayew likes a run. He hogs the ball like the playground's best player as he takes on the Wycombe defence solo.

It almost comes off, but Aaron Pierre is too strong, shepherding him out for a goal-kick.

    Two to go.

Philip Whitehead: You can take the player out of non-league... Sam Wood will always be a favourite for me. Goal vs Wimbledon in 2004 is a great memory #bbcfacup.

Paul Collins: Never have I seen two teams as poor with controlling a football as these two are. Appalling. Villa are pathetic. #bbcfacup.

Johnathan Dudley: #bbcfacup. Come on Wycombe. All of Birmingham and the Black Country proper football fans praying for a winner!

Is there a winner in this one?

If not, Joe Jacobson's penalty is booking us in for a replay at Villa Park.

Aston Villa looking the more likely as this FA Cup third round tie enters the last 10 minutes - but Wycombe will also feel they may get one more chance to expose the flaws in Remi Garde's side.

This has had all the classic FA Cup ingredients. Can it now provide the big finale?

Well, that took the scenic route.

Rudy Gestede's scruffy shot from the edge of the box, deflects off the bottom of Aaron Pierre studs, into the turf and loops back up and against the apex of post and bar from 25 yards.

    Villa are coming on strong.

Jordan Ayew shows a bit of class off the bench.

The Aston Villa substitute turns Joe O'Nien so thoroughly that the Wycombe defender can see his own appendix before drilling just wide from the edge of the box.

Will squad strength in depth get this tie done for Villa today?

Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth is pointing to the sky. Don't think he's passing his verdict on the shocking weather - you suspect he is advising his players to take the aerial route to the FA Cup fourth round.
