Great, great feet by Ross Barkley.

The England forward turns sublimely in the box but flashes a cross across goal.

Seamus Coleman collects on the right and his pull back finds Aaron Lennon unmarked inside the penalty area.

He should score but his first time shot is scuffed, blocked, and Newcastle escape.

    Another dangerous-looking free-kick for Everton.

Ross Barkley from 30 yards..... he whips the ball over the wall but, with Ramiro Funes Mori looking to get on the end of it, the ball bounces wide.

    You fancied him there.

Newcastle goalkeeper Rob Elliot is forced to dash out of his penalty area and head the ball clear.

It only falls to Ross Barkley 30 yards out but, with the keeper in no-mans's land, his lob is well over.

No wonder Barkley looks to sky.

Romelu Lukaku is causing Newcastle a lot of problems.

He is always available and bringing his teammates into the game with some lovely deft lay offs.

With the likes of Ross Barkley and Aaron Lennon running onto his passes, this could be a long night for Newcastle.

    Newcastle will be relatively happy.

They have defended solidly enough and, while they have yet to create anything of note, they are very much in the game.

You can hear a sense of frustration around Goodison already...
