Just watching replays of that Harry Kane goal now and the delight it caused inside the stadium at the time. Kane threw his mask off during his frenzied celebration. It must have felt like the title was on its way to White Hart Lane at that point. 

Luke Tye: A draw is not close to being good enough for Arsenal. They needed 6 points this week-and got 1! Bottled it again 

Paul Collins: Whatever way you look at it, both teams failed a test. Especially Spurs who couldn't win from 2-1 up against 10 men.

In his press conference, Arsene Wenger says: "I cannot complain about Francis Coquelin's second yellow but we can complain about Eric Dier not receiving a second yellow card."

Asked if Arsenal are in title race, he adds: "I don't know. Let's see what happens over the weekend but we have to take encouragement from today and if we can reproduce that we still have a chance. It shows that we had the right spirit and balance in the team, and overall we had a solid performance. 

"The pressure of our supporters is relentless, and I'm in a good position to tell you that. 

"If Leicester win at Watford, they are in a very good position and they don't depend on other people's results."

Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino on BT Sport: "I am pleased. It's true, when it was 2-1 I am little bit disappointed with the result, but we have to be happy we keep the three-point gap to Arsenal. After Harry's goal it was 11 versus 10, and they scored a very good goal but it was our mistake. Overall, the response after the West Ham game was fantastic. 

"In our position, two points from the top, we have nine games ahead and we need to be focused on Thursday against Borussia Dortmund, they are a very tough side too and we cannot stop." 

Patrick Halnon: Every pundit is looking for an Arsenal capitulation yet today they proved that there is more about them that. The only capitulation was the ref's in not giving Dier a second yellow. 

Matthew Wade: Stupid from Coquelin, but another referee fails to apply the rules equally to both sides. Dier should have gone too. Good game between two good but flawed teams.

Just looking at the match stats, Tottenham had 26 shots to Arsenal's 10. A missed opportunity? Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino thinks so and says: "David Ospina was one of the best players on the pitch. We showed that we were better, but we are frustrated with the draw." 

Gregory Mandapat: Stay of execution for Arsene Wenger. Silly fouls from Coquelin but Arsenal showed resolve. Glimmer of hope maybe? 

Luke: With Spurs' fixture list and the inability to beat an out of form 10-man Arsenal at home, you have to worry for them.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger on BT Sport: "I am proud of the spirit, but there are big regrets, going down to 10 men was the big regret for the day and it was hard to take. We told Francis Coquelin at half-time because he had yellow already but Eric Dier deserved a second yellow as well and that could have changed the game. 

"I never questioned the character of the team, when you lose you have to repsond on the pitch and we did that in a convincing way." 

Spurs goalscorer Harry Kane: "We are disappointed, it's an opportunity missed. We should have finished the game off, we should have got the third and fourth and that would have been the end but if you give top sides room they punish you. 

"I didn't think my goal had won it, it put us in a very good position. Maybe we dropped off and gave them too much time on the ball but it's all part of the learning curve. There is a long way to go and we have to take each game as it comes."

David Ospina, who must be up there as one of the man of the match contenders, made nine saves today, the most by an Arsenal goalkeeper in a Premier League game since Lukasz Fabianski v Liverpool in April 2009 (also nine).

"I think a draw is a fair result. It would have been very hard on Arsenal to go away with nothing from this game. They started strongly and did really well to bring themselves back into the game.

"To come back from 2-1 with 10 men, here, with so much pressure, shows that they care and have heart. 

"That result still leaves us no clearer as to who will win the league, but what an opportunity for Leicester later today."

That is a good question Jonathan. Arsenal certainly showing the character that many people thought they were missing. Who knows what this result could do for them?

So that leaves Tottenham two points behind Leicester, who are at Watford later on this evening. Arsenal are now five points behind the Foxes.

"I think Arsene Wenger needs some credit. Bringing Olivier Giroud on has really helped them.

"He made a few bold calls in their starting team. They played very narrow and let Tottenham run at them, but after going behind they have brought themselves right back into the game. They have even had a few chances to win it."

Here come Spurs again but Christian Eriksen fires wide with his left peg. And that's it. Pulsating game, and the winners are..... Leicester, who remain top of the table.

But can Arsenal win it here. Aaron Ramsey is through on goal after a lovely pass but Kevin Wimmer makes a superb challenge to stop the Welshman in his tracks. Ramsey knows how big that goal could have been.
