Spurs are after a third. Good build-up arrives at the feet of Harry Kane, a quick jink, a turn and a shot which whistles past the far post.

Kane is the first Tottenham player to score in three successive Premier League North London derbies against Arsenal since Rafael van der Vaart (Nov 2010, Apr 2011 & Oct 2011).

So here we go. Spurs sniffing victory, and it's a significant one. They will go top of the league if they can hang on against 10-man Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez tries his luck from distance but it's well off-target.

    And breathe.

    Danny Murphy
Ex-Tottenham midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

"This place has erupted! Forget the enormity of the game... what a goal that was. Harry Kane should never be able to do that from there.

"Doesn't he love playing against Arsenal! What an opportunity for Tottenham now."

  10. White Hart Lane comes alivepublished at 14:07 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March 2016

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at White Hart Lane

White Hart Lane had become subdued as Arsenal looked in calm control in the early stages of the second half - but now the old place is rocking as this game has been turned on its head and Spurs lead.

The whole mood changed with Francis Coquelin's senseless second yellow card and now Arsenal are being subjected to a real assault from Spurs.

Another chance for Tottenham as Eric Dier is found on the edge of the penalty area, towards the right. He fires on goal and David Opsina saves. Spurs have another corner. This is amazing.

    Harry Kane (62 mins)

What a goal this is. Dele Alli picks Per Mertesacker's pocket near the corner flag, passes back to Harry Kane and he curls it amazingly into the far corner for his 20th of the season. Has he scored a bigger goal?

And this is a game-changer. Spurs win another corner, Erik Lamela touches it back, and Toby Alderweireld was lurking at the front post to smash low and hard into the net.

"I actually feel sorry for Coquelin there. He did go to ground but the ball was there to be won!

"I don't think Kane would have had the pace to get in. That was stupid!

"His first yellow was for a hand ball in the first-half. Both are nothing cards."

    Tottenham 0-1 Arsenal

The corner is taken deep to Harry Kane at the back post and David Ospina makes another brilliant save. Goal-line technology replays show it was millimetres from going over the line. It could not have been closer. Ospina down injured now. He's ok to carry on, though.

So what will that do to change the game? Referee Michael Oliver was almost reluctant to brandish another yellow card but he had a look on his face which said: "What can I do?" The official was spot on. All of a sudden there is another shift of atmosphere in this game and Dele Alli's shot is deflected for a corner.
