Spurs now enjoying a bit of possession, down the left, and the hosts wins another free-kick. Again it's in a good position. A good place to cross. But Christian Eriksen opts for a shot and it's meat and drink for David Ospina. Not sure that was the right decision.

“There’s such an obvious pass to Danny Rose every time Tottenham get the ball. I’m still trying to work out what Arsenal are doing technically.

"Arsenal have moved Aaron Ramsey central and every time they are leaving Rose on his own and that could cause some problems later on."

There seems to be plenty of space in midfield when Spurs break forward. Arsenal doing the lion's share of defending and it's already leaving Danny Welbeck a touch isolated.

RichardN: After all the build up, all the rivalry and all the importance of this fixture, what if it ends 0-0? Surely not.

Andrew Hook: Just do your job Ramsey. Cut out the flicks and defend. 2 on 1 every time down or right on Bellerin

Spurs are not messing when Arsenal get the ball, they are in on the visitors in a flash. I love a bit of aggressive pressing, me, and Tottenham are very well drilled in that department.

The sight of photographers gathered around the technical area before kick-off normally means one of two things - a new manager or a manager under pressure.

It was the latter as Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was met by a battery of cameras as he emerged to take his seat, stopping first for a very warm exchange and a handshake with his opposite number, Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino.

“If Arsenal go a goal behind here then they have an absolute mountain to climb.

    David Pleat
Former Tottenham boss on BBC Radio 5 live

Time for a bucket of cold water before we kick off.

"There are 30 points to play for and no result at this stage is irretrievable. It's not a decisive game. There will be twists and turns and we can't predict anything. The last three fixtures could be massive and Leicester play Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea!"
