Read MoreWatford Football Club in Vicarage Road has come to the assistance of Watford General Hospital by providing space for hospital staff to relax in during their breaks.
With no Premier League games being played the club said it was "nice to be able to help".
Richard Walker, from the Wasps, said: "It's just somewhere to come off site and take a proper break, as apposed to staying in the hurly burly of the situation at Watford General."
It is hoping to extend the idea by creating an extension of the staff canteen on its site.
It is also being used to store toiletries that have been donated for hospital staff.
Praise has been heaped upon Yovi and Ellis, the founders of Chippefield Covid-19 Outreach team, who have donated hundreds of toiletries so hospitals in Watford, Hemel Hempstead and St Albans.
Watford Borough Council thanked them in this tweet.

Stoke City face two of the other teams fighting to avoid relegation before the international break at the end of the month and manager Michael O'Neill said it was vital they kept their good form up.
They host Middlesbrough next Wednesday and travel to Wigan the following Saturday, and only one point and goal difference separates the sides at the moment.
Before that, Stoke face Reading this Saturday, a team three places and six points ahead of them, and O'Neill forecast three "tough games".
