Ian Tizzard: Not a kit as such, but during the "footballers dying their hair" phase in late 90's, I dyed mine black. By the time I got on the pitch in the pouring rain, I had dye running down my face and stinging my eyes. I had to leave the pitch for several minutes to wash it out. Try explaining that to coach .

You know what - this actually happened to a Premier League footballer. Here's the story.

West Ham owner David Gold called Payet the best player he'd signed in 25 years and added: "He's a supreme footballer. He makes every player in our side play better. On his day, he's world class, he's unstoppable."

Will he prove he's worth it at Norwich today?

Stuart McCash: Using sellotape to hold up football socks never ended well, ripping it off felt like cheesewire on the top of your calves.

Joe: Bought a fancy pair of boots which had padded in built cushions in the heel for 'comfort'. Blisters, infection and a three-day stay in the hospital from the resulting infected lympnodes ensued.

This is making me a bit queasy...
