    Sunderland v Man Utd (12:45 GMT)

    First up on Saturday is Sunderland v Manchester United at the Stadium of Light.

    The Black Cats' form has improved slightly in recent weeks - they've picked up six points in eight games - but they remain four points from safety. 

    Sunderland were playing at Roker Park and Eric Cantona was strutting his stuff the last time the they beat Manchester United at home in March 1997...Michael Gray and John Mullin were on the scoresheet as the hosts won 2-1.

    Netherlands legend Johan Cruyff has updated fans on his health, after recently being diagnosed with lung cancer.

    And it's seemingly positive news for the 68-year-old three-time Ballon d'Or winner:

    "After several medical treatments I can say that the results have been very positive," he said in a statement., external

    "Right now, I have the feeling that I am 2-0 up in the first half of a match that has not finished yet. But I am sure that I will end up winning."

    Some sad news this morning, as ex-West Ham and Wales midfielder Jack Collison has announced his retirement from football at the age of 27 because of injury.

    Collison played 121 times for the Hammers, but suffered persistent knee problems, and it restricted him to only 12 appearances for League One Peterborough. 

    He says he will now focus on a coaching and media career. Good luck, young man.

    The live football gets started early on BBC Radio 5 live with former Chelsea midfielder Pat Nevin joining Ian Brown from The Stadium of Light at 12:45 GMT, where Sunderland entertain Manchester United.
