Never mind five goals and a headline-grabbing Premier League debut, this alone would have made this encounter memorable.

Most bizarre thing I've seen all season.

    Man Utd 3-2 Arsenal

Arsene Wenger makes another change as Alex Iwobi replaces Danny Welbeck, who gets big applause from both Manchester United and Arsenal fans, with only a smattering of boos from the home end.

Scrap that, it appears a cloud gave David de Gea some respite from the sun. It is back and bright as ever as Arsenal build another attack.

    Nervy times for Manchester United...

    Man Utd 3-2 Arsenal

There will be no hat-trick heroics for Marcus Rashford as he is replaced by Adnan Januzaj. Deserved standing ovation after two goals and an assist. He won't forget this game.

Remember when Adnan Januzaj was flavour of the month?

It looks like he is about to come on, but Arsenal are pressing at the moment as Olivier Giroud heads over.

There is good news for Manchester United, though, as David de Gea is no longer being dazzled by the sun.

    Arsenal fans, look away now.

Tottenham have just scored and now lead 2-1, Danny Rose scoring.

    What. On. Earth...!?

A huge cheer erupts at the rare sight of Louis van Gaal getting out of his seat. Where is he going? The Manchester United boss walks up to fourth official and proceeds to lie down on the floor, presumably questioning the actions of someone on the pitch.

    I've seen everything now.

Mohamed Elneny is on for Arsenal, having replaced Francis Coquelin a little earlier and his first involvement is to be booked for a hefty challenge.

How pumped must Leicester fans be? Both their league title rivals are slipping up at the moment, although Tottenham have just equalised against Swansea.

Tempers are flaring now as players rush in on Aaron Ramsey and Ander Herrea after a tussle between the two. Ramsey fouled Herrera, with the latter reacting angrily and the referee makes the right decision - booking them both.

And there's that commentator's curse again...

Arsenal are back in this as Danny Welbeck's shot is superbly blocked by David de Gea but there is nothing the keeper can do to keep out Mesut Ozil's volley on the follow up.

This is like a Manchester United-Arsenal clash of old.

Now Memphis Depay and Marcus Rashford play a one-two inside the Arsenal area but the Gunners block for a corner as Depay tries to dance his way through.

Arsenal are as poor as I have seen them for sometime.

"Marcus Rashford is playing a blinder - two goals and now an assist. I think Gabriel might be wishing he hadn't made his comeback today."

    Ander Herrera

First real chance of this half and Manchester United restore their two goal advantage.

It is Ander Herrera with the goal, his strike from outside the area getting a wicked deflection. Who made the assist? That man Marcus Rashford, who held up the ball well, looked up and picked out Herrera in space.

Poor defending again from Arsenal, Gabriel has had a shocker.

    Man Utd 2-1 Arsenal

Blimey, I actually forgot Theo Walcott was playing in this game.

If he had a touch in this half I was not aware of it, and Arsene Wenger decides it is time to make a change, replacing the forward with Olivier Giroud.

Still the Manchester United goalmouth is bathed in dazzling sunshine, but hosts are on the attack through Memphis Depay, who has been giving Hector Bellerin plenty to think about throughout this game. He cracks a curled effort towards the near post, but Petr Cech is behind it all the way.
