    Unbelievable! What are we seeing!?

This time, Jesse Lingard floats in a fine ball from the right and Marcus Rashford rises to power in a header.

Manchester United have a new hero. Old Trafford is bouncing.

Oh my, it had to be didn't it!

Marcus Rashford, making his Premier League debut, bags the opener for Manchester United.

Poor defending from Arsenal, though, as Guillermo Varela's cross is not cleared by Nacho Monreal and Rashford snaffles up the loose ball, smashing it into the roof of the net.

If I was him, I'd go and put a couple of quid on the lottery. Everything is going his way this week.

The camera pans out on those players who are on Manchester United's lengthy injury list and there's almost not enough seats to fit them all on.

To Manchester United's credit, their patchwork team is doing a solid job against Arsenal so far, arguably shading matters.

"It was a reckless challenge by Michael Carrick. He was never going to get there. He hasn't got a leg to stand on with that decision. A good call from Mike Dean."

    Man Utd 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal, as you would expect, aren't afraid to commit men forward. The Gunners are particularly targeting the United right, with left-back Nacho Monreal (18) bombing on regularly to support Alexis Sanchez (17).

Home right-back Guillermo Varela is already on a booking for hacking down Sanchez earlier - he might have to tread carefully over the next 65 minutes or so...

...Mesut Ozil takes the free-kick, hitting it low towards the near post where Alexis Sanchez has peeled away from the defence and gets a touch that takes the ball just past the post. It wouldn't have mattered if he had got it on target, though, with Sanchez having just strayed offside.

Still waiting for this game to really lift off.

    Man Utd 0-0 Arsenal

Manchester United come forward again as Memphis Depay buzzes forward on the left flank, trying to squeeze past Hector Bellerin, but his touch is poor and the ball almost runs out of play, forcing Depay to swing in a cross that is far too deep to trouble Arsenal.

Moments later, Michael Carrick is booked after he brings down Danny Welbeck and Arsenal have a free-kick midway inside the hosts' area...

I'm surprised Arsenal are not trying to test out that makeshift Manchester United central defence. Instead, they keep trying to go wide, with their latest attack seeing Alexis Sanchez managing to get a cross in on the left but it is headed away.

"I think it was a blade of grass outside the box, but Marcus Rashford's momentum took him so far into the area, that it's no wonder the fans were shouting for a penalty. A good decision by the referee, though."

Now we get to see Marcus Rashford!

A fantastic burst of pace by the 18-year-old sees him charge between Hector Bellerin and Gabriel, with the latter sticking out a boot to bring down Rashford right on the edge of the area.

Memphis Depay takes the free-kick, bending it low around the wall but great awareness by Petr Cech to get down and make the save. He'll have seen that late.

Not had chance to see anything from Marcus Rashford yet. That early run by Memphis Depay aside, the hosts haven't really caused Arsenal too much trouble in the final third.
