A massive game for both sides?

If Arsenal lose, they will remain five points behind Leicester, but without their game in hand.

Defeat for Manchester United will surely end their hopes of finishing fourth - they are currently sixth and six points behind Manchester City in fourth.

"If injury-ravaged Manchester United can get a team out, then they could make another memory in a largely forgettable season so far - with spirits raised this week by two wins and a new local hero emerging in Marcus Rashford.

"They might even get the support of the odd Manchester City fan for this. A very odd one.

"It's almost 10 years since Arsenal last won here in the league. If this is their year to be champions again, that run really ought to end."

Arsene Wenger claims Arsenal's 2010 title challenge faltered because his players' heads were being turned by other clubs.

Arsenal haven't won the league since 2004. In that time I've finished university, become a journalist, lived in Hong Kong, moved back to the UK, joined the BBC and settled in Manchester.

University seems like a lifetime ago, so it is fair to say that Arsenal fans must be starting to forget what celebrating a title win is like.

The Gunners have also developed a reputation for challenging strongly, before falling away from March onwards.

Arsene Wenger, though, believes things will be different this time, saying previous challenges were damaged by their players being approached by other clubs.

"When we went into April in 2010, some of the players were tapped up to go somewhere else and it was difficult to maintain the focus," he said. "That's not the case at the moment."

Knowing that many Premier League footballers earn more in a week than I will earn in a year it makes me a little bit happier knowing that they sometimes have to do normal things like the rest of us.

Here's the Manchester City squad getting a Saturday night train to London from Stockport...

"Tottenham played poorly against Crystal Palace and are out of the FA Cup but I am not reading too much into that performance, or the result.

"I don't expect the same to happen against Swansea, who are still teetering a bit above the drop zone."

    Prediction: 2-0

I tell you what, and whisper it quietly, but Chelsea might actually finish above Manchester United this season.

The Blues are in great form under Guus Hiddink and they came from behind to win 2-1 at Southampton on Saturday.

They are now just five points behind Manchester United. Pretty amazing given how terribly they started the season.

The Sunday Express also leads on Wayne Rooney apparently being set to miss the Euros.

A bit more detail from the story,, external it says that if Rooney's damaged knee ligaments fail to heal in a brace then surgery might be necessary, which would leave him struggling to be fit for this summer's tournament.

The other story on the back pages has words from Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany, who says today's League Cup final against Liverpool is another step towards City becoming "one of the biggest clubs".

With the winners today booking their place in the Grand Final and moving a step closer to walking out at Wembley, there is plenty to play for in the nationwide amateur competition.

Today is the turn of the U16 girls, Male veterans, Walking Football, U16 disability and Adult disability categories.

How big could Leonardo Ulloa's goal for Leicester yesterday prove to be?

The Foxes were on course for a draw at home to Norwich when up popped Ulloa in the 89th minute to seal three points for the hosts and move them five points clear at the top.

Whatever happens today, Leicester will go into March as the Premier League leaders.

How nervous every single day must that chap be who stuck a bet on Leicester to win the league at 1500-1...

The back pages of most of Sunday's newspapers lead on reports that Wayne Rooney might not make the Euros.

Of course, it being Rooney gives the papers the chance to dust off their hilarious 'Roo' related puns. 'Roo can forget it'. Nice one...

Away from Rooney, The Star on Sunday also fills the back page with a report on Leicester City after they beat Norwich to move five points clear at the top of the Premier League.

With that in mind, what games have you played in that involve a lot of history and why? Maybe a Sunday League rival pinched one of your best players? A rival team takes the best seats in the local boozer post match?

If this Premier League's fixture list was the menu at a top quality restaurant, then Manchester United versus Arsenal would be the Filet Mignon with chunky chips and whopping great onion rings.

Today, though, it is an appetiser - albeit caviar-quality appetiser - to the main course of the League Cup final - Liverpool against Manchester City.

So loosen the belt and get settled in for a sumptuous day of football.
