Brendan Rodgers
Former Liverpool manager on Match of the Day
"For the two managers, they are both experienced. They come from different environments. For a British manager, it is unheard but for Guus Hiddink being in Europe and Manuel Pellegrini in South America in South America, they are probably used to that. They will want to win as many games as they can to win trophies.
"For some players, they may be looking ahead to next season."

Alan Shearer
Former England captain on Match of the Day
"I don't get the talk of making so many changes. City want to be the bes, they have more resources than anyone else. They are in four competitions, what they set out to do, why moan?
"I never see Suarez, Neymar and Messi want to be left out For us it seems to be a big issue."

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has created quite a stir with a team selection that includes five full debutants.
Is he showing the FA Cup a lack of respect in fielding such a weakened side for this fifth round tie at Chelsea? Or is it purely pragmatism ahead of the crucial Champions League last 16 game against Dynamo Kiev in Ukraine next week?Is it even a protest vote against the tie being scheduled as the late Sunday game?Arguments for and against on all sides but certainly it is a selection that has been the catalyst for plenty of comment.

BBC Match of the Day commentator
"Manuel Pellegrini says Manchester City's Champions League trip to Kiev forces him to 'prioritise', and that means we'll all get a glimpse of the 'junior Blues'. Don't let that put you off watching though. They're good - that's why they're there.
"Chelsea are good again too, and Guus Hiddink plays a strong side as he attempts to replicate the FA Cup win that gave him so much pleasure in 2009."
Chelsea v Man City (16:00 GMT)
Aaron Grieve McGuirk: I think some of the Man City U14's were hoping for a possible call up with Pellegrini's attitude towards this game.
Richard: So City field a young team today - going to be extremely embarrassing if CFC can't produce a win.
Michael Park: Man City have Dynamo Kiev on wednesday not Bayern or Barca. What a poor excuse of a team today. Why bother at all. Pitiful.

I'll be honest, I am not a regular watcher of the Under-21s league, so I can't say I was massively familiar with some of Manchester City's EDS players up until a few hours ago. Still, I'll do my best to give a quick rundown of what they are all about before kick off.
Right move by Manuel Pellegrini? On the one hand, a great experience for the youngsters but on the other hand, what would a hefty defeat do to their confidence of eventually making the breakthrough?
