NicLewis: Costa is not worth the fleeting moments of brilliance

Kieran Kirschner: If Barry had reacted to that Costa would be in huge trouble. Didn't bite but had the intention to which is bad enough.

    Ruud Gullit
    Former Chelsea manager

"It was a fantastic goal and this game needed something magical. The way he turned Gary Cahill, an experienced player, he came with power and pace. I loved it. This is the FA Cup, it is a good thing that the two teams had nothing to play for elsewhere because they went at it.

"Diego Costa’s reaction summed up what he did before. He banged into him and Gareth Barry says, ‘OK’. Did he bite him?"

Ex-Everton and Republic of Ireland winger at Anfield for Radio 5 live

“He was not good enough for Chelsea, but Romelu Lukaku has been the difference. The atmosphere says it all. Both of the goals he took very well. The second was just pure power."

"We said at half-time that we wanted magic and we got it from Lukaku. Pace, power, clinical. The goal was absolutely superb. What a season he is having. It had everything rolled into one. He went around the defenders as if they weren’t there and a sublime finish."

Josh Hammond: Lukaku's goal just gets better and better the more you watch it. Goal of the tournament for sure!

Ryan Blythe: Great first goal from Lukaku to win the game. Still fancy Arsenal winning another FA Cup for the third year running.

Dennis Ethan: Glad Everton left it late to get the goals or else they'd have surrendered the lead yet again. Can't be trusted with a lead at home

What would Romelu Lukaku be worth on the open market now? Not many players around who can score goals like that...

Vince: Diego Costa has just earned the most overdue red card in football history.

Chris Coates: Two quick goals and suddenly Costa's throwing his toys out of the pram... disgrace of a footballer.

Jack: Absolutely disgusting behaviour by Costa, disgraceful.

    FOUR MINUTES added on.

Gareth Barry may have been daft to get sent off there but he did Diego Costa a favour. If he had reacted to what looked like a 'bite', then Costa could have been in big, big trouble.

I wonder if anything more will come from that. I stress that I don't think Costa did actually bite Barry - but it looked like he was considering it.

A flurry of subs to catch you up on - John Terry, Loic Remy and John Stones have all come on in the last few minutes. It's a bit nervy at Goodison, as Everton have thrown away a load of points from winning positions this season.

Edmund Emiowei: Lukaku, the natural successor to one Didier Drogba, & Chelsea let him go. Shows how clueless they are where youth is concerned

Dan Hart: What a goal by Lukaku! Sometimes there is just not a lot you can do to stop a goal of that quality!

Josh Hammond: Take a bow Romelu Lukaku! So many strikers in the BPL would have gone to ground at some point during that run! What a goal!

  20. RED CARD - Gareth Barrypublished at 87 mins

    Everton 2-0 Chelsea

Well that is just stupid. Gareth Barry, who could have been cautioned several times before he was just a few minutes ago, is booked for a second time as he catches Cesc Fabregas.

    It will finish 10v10.
