Max Kinsky: Since Hiddink arrived, Costa has grown up a lot. Not perfect, but a lot of players are trying to play up incidents with him

Chris Haydon: Both teams are struggling to create. Pressure surrounding the centre of the pitch. Have a feeling the 2nd half will change that.

The game is in a bit of a lull. I watched a full 90-minute snoozefest at lunchtime. Let's have a goal!

Everton have really been getting in and about Chelsea - making for a lively start but there has been little or nothing in the way of quality or chances.

The home side are playing at a very high tempo and the home crowd are right into this, giving referee Michael Oliver plenty of earache about perceived leniency to Diego Costa and Kenedy.

Everton have picked up the pace a notch as Leighton Baines' clever flick finds fellow full-back Seamus Coleman and he immediately drives in a cross to the far post. Romelu Lukaku is free of his man but the cross is too high and drifts away.

Referee Michael Oliver shows Chelsea youngster Kenedy a lot of patience as he doesn't book him for clipping Aaron Lennon. That's twice the home fans think Kenedy should have seen yellow already!

Midway through the first half and the sole shot on target so far came inside 40 seconds. It's an engaging watch though, superb tempo and passion. Not so much superb play yet.

Pantomime villain Diego Costa has the Gwladys up in arms again as he goes down in the middle after a tussle with Phil Jagielka. Good defending, no foul...

Chelsea have had almost 60% of the play so far, with both full-backs seeing plenty of it. Kenedy is the latest man to go in hard, and then Phil Jagielka comes through Diego Costa and wins the ball clean as you like.

Hard but very fair. It's a tackling connoisseur's game so far...

Diego Costa and Gareth Barry have already clashed a couple of times, with the Chelsea striker earning a yellow card for one challenge.

And Costa has been in the Everton veteran's ear for most of this game so far. Long way to go on that one.

Ross Barkley has 100% accuracy from his 12 passes so far. Would you have him in the England starting XI at the Euros? With Dele Alli? Instead of?

Or will it be Henderson, Carrick and Milner...

This one is already getting feisty as Gareth Barry and then Seamus Coleman put in some committed tackles. And Aaron Lennon. Foot in.
