  1. 'Win and Norwich almost safe'published at 15:22 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Norwich

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"It’s a big game for both teams. Both have to hold their nerve. Crystal Palace seem to have the edge but Norwich are keeping them at bay.

"If Norwich can pull something out of this game, a win, they’re almost certainly safe."

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:22 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Southampton 1-0 Newcastle

Jordy Clasie goes very close to doubling Southampton's lead as his inswinging free-kick misses everyone and misses the far post by a foot or two in the process.

Newcastle keeper Karl Darlow had no clue where that was going...

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bournemouth

Aston Villa, on their way to the Championship, are doing OK so far, they are competing well but Bournemouth just need to find that first goal before the home side go to #headsgone mode.

Cherries midfielder Dan Gosling almost gets the first, but screws his shot wide from the edge of the area.

  4. CLOSE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Swansea 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic now does have to earn his wages. He does well to push away Gylfi Sigurdsson's strike from the edge of the box, but the Icelander should have done better.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Norwich

Finish! Confidence is through the floor and you can see it on the faces and in the feet of the Crystal Palace attack! Pape Souare sends in a decent cross from the left but two men let it go past them before Jason Puncheon chucks a boot at it and sees his sliced shot deflected wide.

From the corner Dieumerci Mbokani has to block another effort as Palace dial up the pressure...

  6. CLOSE!published at 15:18 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Watford 0-0 Everton

First chance of the game at Vicarage Road and it goes the home side's way. It's almost a beauty as Jose Jurado picks the ball up around 30-yards before flashing a left-footed strike towards the top corner, but Joel Robles does brilliant to get across and push the ball away.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: "We've shown resilience and spirit to come back to 3-3. In the last 20 mins it could have gone both ways. I’m disappointed we didn't (have an answer to Andy Carroll).

"I’m not here after the game to blame the players. We are disappointed to concede three goals. Particularly after 2-1. Overall it’s a shame.

"Do we still have an opportunity to win the title? I don’t know. We made it more difficult today."

Matthew Bennett: Like Ranieiri being a distraction from how good Bilic has been, Lerner has been a distraction from how awful Ashley has been.

Chad Smith: Anyone give my Baggies a chance against Man City today? C'mon TP release the shackles & let the boys have a shot on goal or 2.

Sam Gibb: I'll be most gutted about losing Mitrovic though. I'm convinced he has the potential to be a world beater.

Norwich can sense a chance to get at Palace's fragile underbelly and after a bright Palace start it's all green and yellow now. Jonny Howson drives past two men and hits an ambitious drive from 25 yards which flies over the top.

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic: "Andy Carroll haseverything. It's impossible to stop him.

"His work rate, watch how many times he tried to get the ball off them. He was keeping the ball, laying it off. Heading, he's maybe the best in the world. He has to stay away from those injuries.

"He's professional but he's got to be totally dedicated to his career and football."

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Norwich

Wayne Hennessey has looked shaky in recent weeks and he has another bad moment as he comes to take a deep free-kick, spilling the ball under pressure from Timm Klose. He just about gathers it in.

  14. Postpublished at 15:10 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Southampton 1-0 Newcastle

BBC Newcastle summariser John Anderson: "It was woeful defending from Newcastle. Nobody was prepared to get a tackle in. Steven Taylor was just planted to the spot."

Scott Ball: Looks like today could be the end of an era of villa go down! Under O'Neill I thought they would get in top 4!!

Mark Taylor:  If Utd and City win this weekend Arsenal could be pushing to finish in the top 4. How things can change eh.

David Lunggren: Pathetic from Newcastle, who are surely - and deservedly - going down. "Keep it tight," Rafa said, and they concede right away

  16. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

The Premier League bottom three as it stands... Sorry, Newcastle fans.

And it could have been worse. Southampton have had two half chances since they scored.

Everton monopolising possession at Vicarage Road but none of which is of concern to Watford.

  18. ouch!

Postpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Norwich

Norwich's first attack is meaningful as Dieumerci Mbokani spins a pass out to the right, Matt Jarvic cuts inside and cracks in a show which Scott Dann blocks with his face. Full in the face.

Ouch indeed. He's going to need a minute...

  19. Postpublished at 15:07 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Aston Villa 0-0 Bournemouth

The away side, who are safe from relegation, 12 points above the drop zone, carve their first opportunity of the game through Max Gradel. The midfielder's shot is saved well by Villa goalkeeper Brad Guzan, who dives to his right to keep the ball out.

  20. Postpublished at 15:06 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Swansea 0-0 Chelsea

Swansea the better side early on but it's Ruben Loftus-Cheek who has the first effort on goal.

The midfielder's strike from inside the area is straight at Lukasz Fabianski though, who can gather.
