Sam, Birmingham: I don't know what is more upsetting, the fact Villa are going down or the fact their performances and attitudes have killed the part of me that cares.

William Terry: Aston Villa need to sort out their managerial appointment ASAP. Newcastle will be looking soon and maybe Sunderland.

Dal Sokh: If teams like Villa or Newcastle don't show the desire and fight to stay in the Premier League, they don't belong there.

And Charlton, 19th, are 1-0 down at QPR. Second-placed Middlesbrough lead Preston 1-0 through an Albert Adomah goal.

League One:Crewe are down as it stands, as they trail 1-0 at Port Vale. The three teams above them, Doncaster, Oldham and Colchester are all drawing 0-0. Second-placed Burton are goalless at Scunthorpe.

League Two:Northampton's 1-0 lead over Bristol Rovers means they are going up. Oxford need to beat Crawley to prevent the Cobblers lifting the title today - they're drawing 1-1. Two points separate seventh and 11th - AFC Wimbledon currently have the final play-off place courtesy of their 1-0 lead at Plymouth. And Dagenham have a small hope of staying up, as they're 1-0 up against Plymouth.

Ewan Lury: Are Chelsea even trying today? At least 20 misplaced passes and no chances. Bring on the youth team subs. They'll give it a go!

Mark Campion: A fit and in-form @JeffMONTERO23, external makes such a difference to Swansea!

Joseph from Oxford: A side note to the premier league, Chris Wilder has to be one of the most underrated managers in England. Took Oxford back to the football league, established them there, left them in the play offs to join Northampton in the relegation zone and kept them up and now look (with the club in severe financial troubles). Class.

And he got a new chairman to come in and save the club from liquidation at the last minute. Get that statue commissioned...

    Goals galore.

Everton are all over the place at the back and concede a needless corner as Joel Robles mis-kicks the ball out.

From the resulting kick, Watford defender Jose Holebas climbs at the back post to plant a header in at the front post and Everton boss Roberto Martinez will be livid his side couldn't hold out for a few more seconds.

    Aston Villa going down.

The home side did so well to hold out, but go to sleep on a corner on the verge of half time.

The ball is played into the box and Steve Cook scores a beauty with a back flick from close range to give Bournemouth the lead.

Think Jamie Vardy for England against Germany a couple of weeks ago.

Former England winger Trevor Sinclair: “You can’t just blame the Newcastle defence, there’s a midfield who should be protecting them – away from home, lacking confidence, they’re not getting back to help the defence out.

“They’re living dangerously and I think Southampton will destroy them today.”

Former England winger Trevor Sinclair: “I’m a bit gutted for Rafa Benitez. You can see Janmaat has gone down injured and obviously Southampton aren't going to stop, because it’s not a head injury. I think Janmaat being in there would have given them a bit more insurance.”
